Advice on a game plan for detailing the NBP?

So I got a pc from this guy, and some other stuff came with it.

Optimum compound
Optimum polish
Poorboys ssr 2.5
Poorboys ssr1
Meguiars #83
Meguiars #80

I plan on washing the car, then claying, and that's where i'm stuck. I'm not sure on what I should use next in my lineup. What gives the best results? I'm thinking I should try polish first and see if it takes out the swirls, then if it don't move up to the compound? Then there is the question of which polish to use?

So after all that, what do you recommend for sealer/wax?

I'm a newbie so any help would be appreciated

I have a couple orange, white, and black pads. I really just need a plan of attack, so to speak. I'm not completely familiar with all these products, so that's why i'm asking. I'm thinking orange pad with optimum polish, then stepping up to the compound if I need to? Out of all the products listed, would you say that optimum gives the best results? Then I was thinking maybe use the meguiars speed glaze after? I really just want to use up what I have first and go from there.

Well, the Megs SG has some fillers, and is a light polish. I would say its a tad more aggressive then the Opt Pol II. The Megs DACP is about the same as the Opt Comp II, but dusts quite a bit if I recall. The PB's 2.5 used to pit on me. as well as others, so I stopped using it. The PB's I is a maintenance polish. much like Opt Pol II.
The beauty of the Optimum Polishes are they're dust free, and allow the user an extended work time. Opt Pol is not necessarily a swirl mark remover though, as we know them. However, you can use the Opt Pol with Orange medium polishing pads and have very good results. I wouldnt hesitate to go to the white pad with the Compound II, on most paints. Then if I needed a little more bite, use the Orange. I would probably follow up with the white pad and Opt Pol as a finish routine.
All the Optimum Polishes are interchangeable also, add some Comp to the Pol to boost it, or vice versa to tame it.......
Look for new Optimum products soon, including a revised Hyper Compound....

Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I think that pretty much sums it up for me. And I'll be sure to look out for those upcoming products as well.
