2012 C63 Opti Guard

Hello all, today's write up is a solid black C63. The car received a 2 step process that took over 2 days to complete. I spent around 14 hours total. The protection is Opti Guard, the professional version of the ver popular Opti Coat.

The wheels weren't terribly dirty, and the color doesn't really show dirt, but I cleaned them anyway.

Wheels before:

I then foamed the car down with a strong mixture of soap and all purpose cleaner to strip existing protection, this also lets me see the real condition of the car:

This is what I found after I stripped away the protection:

Do you or anyone with experience with Opti-gaurd and opti-coat see an INCREASE IN GLOSS or overall reflection/appearance from the clear coat and surface after the application of this stuff?

Or does it merely melt into the clear and just protect?

It was for full exterior + coating + minor interior work + engine bay.
Took 2 full days to finish.
