'08 911 Turbo + Opti Coat

The owner of this car had just bought it with 30k miles on the clock, he saw and liked our previous Carrera write up and decided to hire me and my partner to restore gloss and lay down some serious protection for his new ride. This is the process of the multiple step detail we performed for this client, and boy was he ecstatic!

After its second bath, we pulled the car inside for the second step, prepped the car for coating, then applied opti coat

Looks like you are using the GG6 and a rotary? I was really debating on whether i wanted the GG6 or the flex. Went through with the gg6, probably should have gone with the flex. Either the flex or a rotary is next, with scrap test panels of course for the rotary.

Yup, tried out my partner's Festool rotary and absolutely fell in love with it. Going to sell my Makita to get funds to buy one myself. You want my Makita rotary?

I just spent a little over 500 on my DA and some polishing materials. Too risky for me at the moment.

Have some practice on the DA first before you step it up lol.
Rotary = completely different animal.

The difference is just amazing. Great job and really love that Porsche color.

Does that brush that you used on the door handles, emblems etc. marr the paint in any way?

Thanks guys.
The brush we used is made of soft, naturally animal hair. It reduces/eliminates the chance of marring vs other cheap brushes.

Thanks, it's fairly easy. It's the prepping that's a PITA.
