04-08 TL, Floor Mats

Hi Forum users,

Question to all my acura TL owners. How do you clean your floor mats? I have black ebony interior and my floor mats are black, and they have the white TL Logo on them. My Problem is I can't figure out how to clean the white embroiled TL logo so it is white again. Any Suggestions? Maybe I should try a Tide White Stick?..
Thanks Alot.

I used a clorox bleach pen to clean it up, then hosed of the mat and then sucked up the water with a shop-vac.

I usually spray the floor mats down with Folex and Meguiar's APC at 10:1, rinse with water, and extracted with a Craftsman 5 H.P. wet/dry vac.

Not sure if this is really recommended but my parch. mats where so dirty i really didnt care. Sprayed them with some simple green carpet cleaner and then let them sit for a few. Then I took a powerwasher and hit them with that. It was a 4000 PSI i believe that I borrowed from my rents so i just held the nozzle way way above them so i didnt completely destroy them. After that i used a carpet shampooer to pull the water out and let them air dry. make sure to be careful around the TL logo and they will come out great.

I don't know how many times they will hold up for this tho

I don't really think it's the PSI to be worried about when using a pressure washer but rather the GPM flow. Using the pressure washer is one of many great ways to rinse floor mats.
