I'm interested in what others have to say on this as well.

My thoughts are along the lines of :
1. Wash
2. Clay Bar
3. Polish / paint cleaner
4. sealant of some sort.

I would wash then clay the entire MDX. Then go with some compunds/polishes to get rid of the swirls, scratches and any paint defects. My favorite is Four Star BSL Medium Cut followed by light cut, works magic. Then seal the car using some good wax. Also for the chrome portions of the MDX, eagle one's NeverDull works magic.

Perfect. Is this by hand or PC/UDM?

LOL^

I'm still doing my TL by hand, it's hard work but I don't have the funds "yet" to purchase one yet.

Perhaps next season as in MN it's around 41degrees? My car washing days are vanishing.

Check out this site for more info about exterior detailing. As far as product selection, it really comes down to a personal choice. Reference this page to get an idea of what some of the members prefer.
