I'm too darn short sometimes I think... at just above 5'.. *but* I still don't have any problems in my TL :D And the seat isn't even raised that much..!

FugittiveTLS`03 01-27-2005 06:42 PM

PDX3.2TL 01-27-2005 07:09 PM

5'10" buck 90. My hair always touches the damn freekin roof though when i am sitting!!!

tlysis 01-27-2005 09:53 PM

Didn't think I would add to this post - but finally did considering the last car I drove...

6' 2'' - 185 -- Clearance is fine for me in the 3G TL -

HOWEVER, my head scraped the top and then my hair would stick up on the left after getting out of my big 'ol '96 CROWN VIC (inherited). I think I would have had better clearance sitting in the trunk of that monster!

I love TL, Fit me very comfeely...

clay8898 02-01-2005 07:30 PM

6'2" No problems.

02 c-town tl 02-04-2005 10:54 AM

6'1" and 190lbs

The ceiling is low and I find myself bending my neck down to see b/c I feel a little closed in and I end up with a stiff neck and back. I have the seat all the way back and leaning way back to get away from the front window. Telescopic steering would be awesome. The ergonomics of my Maxima SE were much better.

2002 TL-P

fpique 02-04-2005 01:46 PM

james94523 04-08-2005 06:23 PM

I am 5'7" and about 140, and I think the seats are a little better for you bigger guys. I swim in the seat a little being a little guy.

ChiTL04 04-09-2005 04:33 PM

I'm 6'6" 220lbs with no issues with comfort. I think they catered to my height division pretty well.

topper1296 04-24-2005 07:26 PM

I am 6'5" and the only problem I had was my hair hitting the roof, but I since have gotten a buzz cut and that is no longer a problem.

seberle 04-25-2005 10:39 PM

Annoying Prob

Am 6'5" and I only have one problem with my height in my 2005 6MT:
In relaxed position on interstate drives, my knee keeps hitting the radio knob and turning it off.

TLofNYC 04-26-2005 01:55 PM

6'6''.......Fit like a glove, but i would kill myself if I had to ride in the back seat.no room at all.

Very comfortable, like my own personal cockpit

crashish 05-30-2005 04:39 AM

6'7" at 260... The TL isn't quite as roomy overall as my old Mercedes, but the headroom is about the same.

ndx2 05-30-2005 01:55 PM

6' (ok, maybe 5' 11 1/2") & 150~lbs. i wish the side bolsters could be adjusted. very comfy otherwise.

Red_TL_2005 05-31-2005 09:31 PM

shortie here

5'2. Just got my car on Friday. Lovin it except for one thing, I can not reach the seat belt without having to turn around and grab it. And even then it seems hard to find behind the seat. Any suggestions??

Sniper 55 05-31-2005 10:42 PM

5'7" Very comfortable but you know what's funny when i Drive my Tl i feel bigger then that

Xpditor 06-04-2005 08:16 AM

Room galore.

6' 3", 190 lbs. The seat is not all the way back. Plenty of room. I have never sat in the back except when treating the leather. No one else has either except for my dog, Zorro. :dog:

NBP04TL4ME 06-04-2005 09:14 AM

6' - 1" and 195lbs. No problems whatsoever. I do like to have the seat a good way back so it isn't as fun for the the little ones in the back.

TheAcAvenger 06-24-2005 05:08 AM

6'3, never been comfier.

TL_S_Driver 06-24-2005 07:15 AM

kabota 06-24-2005 07:42 AM

GeraldB 06-27-2005 07:11 AM

5' 4" Three problems - I can't look over my left shoulder out the back window because the front and rear headrests and C pillar are in the way - also, I have the seat so far forward that I have to duck under the A pillar to get in and out - lastly, with the seat that far forward, the shoulder belt hangs behind the seatback and is difficult to reach. This is made worse by my lack of flexibility at age 64. It's more of a problem with my '05 TL than with my previous '99. Pretty insignificant though, when I like a car this much.

are you sitting as far back as legs possibly allow

GeraldB 06-28-2005 10:08 AM

Possibly not. If you're suggesting that more distance from the airbag is better, I agree. The car's so new that I haven't really gotten used to it yet, so I'll experiment with moving the seat back. Thanks.
After posting I began to wonder if I could use the memory settings to position the seat for easy entry/exit somehow, so I'll look into that. It would be a little complicated though, because there is another driver.

I AGREE! 5-2" here. I LOVE the car. But what I found is when I back out I have ZERO visibility on my left side of the car!!!! Not sure which is worse, but reaching the seatbelt is almost impossible. I finally figured out that I need to put the seatbelt on BEFORE I closed my door, that way I could reach it! Since getting used to this ,its not tooooo bad..... No wonder mostly 6 footers own this car!
