Just turned 95,000 miles
All recommended maintenance.
New timing belt and pulleys, drive belt, water pump, motor mounts, upper tranny mount, battery, alternator, thermostat, coolant, power steering pump rebuilt, driver side axle, 4 rotors and pads, hood struts, spark plugs, 3rd and 4th gear switches, 3x3 Redline D4,...

Love this car!...

Just inherited an 04 TL from my brother who wanted a new car. Get car for free 280,000 miles on it. He never did one thing. Timing belt, suspension, etc... all original. Just had the timing belt service done as well as a host of other minor things. Replacing suspension this week with tein springs and koni orange shocks. Car still runs mint. Everything works perfectly.

mine has got nearly 240k. I bought it fairly recently and only about a thousand of them are mine. I'm not sure how much repair was done before I got it but all had to do was replace the mounts and I put a new timing belt in there.

205K on my 08 Base.
I've seen some cars in my time and I've glanced at a TL or 2 when I see one. Most I see are beat to hell. The interiors look like shit. Seats are cracked and torn. The dash is cracked and peeling. All kinds of stuff.
My interior is still very clean. I need new floor mats that I'll get in the spring but nothing is torn. I NEVER condition my seats. I just never have. They get wiped down every now and then. And I'm not a feather weight - my fat ass is pushing 220 again. I just don't know. T
The exterior is fairly clean. I've had the front end repainted from stone damage and the driver's side was redone because it was side swiped. But the paint still shines. Better than the day I bought it home.
Oh well....I'm going to get the TB done again in a couple months. And then it's off to 300K.

132k on my '06 base. Interior is nearly mint, but a few dings on the outside from parking near the wrong people. Hoping to give the car to my daughter, but my wife says it's too fast lol

I just bought my '08 base a couple days ago with 137k. Everything looks and runs great but the transmission shifts a little hard so I'm going to do a drain and fill with Redline D4 this week.
#1216
My '06 is at 81k. Got it at 77k about 6 months ago, it was in great shape inside and out considering it was 9 years old. I've done a bunch of preventive maintenance including 2 drain and fills with DW1, pressure switches, front rotors/pads, New brake fluid, serpentine belt, power steering o-ring and flush (PS fluid was black!), and fixed both passenger and driver side air mix motors. It's my winter car and it runs strong. Been pleased with it so far. Hope it holds up.

My '05 is at is at 105k. Will do the timing belt this summer. Starter just went out--I'll replace that this evening.
I gave my 2G to my son--it has 210k on it, and runs great! Bought it with 114k on it (timing belt had been done) and have only replaced: starter, cooling fan, coil pack, IIRC.

I have an '05 with 96k on it. It got flooded and had the motor replaced with 50k on it, so I'm curious to see how long it will last.
I have had a lot of cosmetic issues such as crashed dash, burned out interior lights and electrical issues, but its fine mechanically.

No...it is recommended at 105 but as long as it didn't break then no worries...there are members on here that have many more miles on their 3G and haven't changed the TB yet, but they're playing with fire, cuz if it breaks...they are fuqued!

My new to me 2008 TL base just broke 40K miles. Aw shucks.
Got it with a little over 39K miles, but had traded in my 2002 RL with 220K on the dash (still running like a top, no major issues, just regularly scheduled maintenance).
My mom upgraded to a 2012 TL about 6 months prior to my trade. She traded in a 1998 RL with 320,000 on the dash. Same story, regularly scheduled maintenance and no major mechanical failures. That thing was super mint, like not a scratch. You wouldn't believe it, wish I had pics!!! That baby was on its FOURTH serpentine (including the factory installed). No joke.

That's awesome. I just turned 82k on my 2006 6MT. This gives me a reason to hold on to the car for a few more years and keep saving money toward a newer model. So far, since I paid off my 2006 TL, I have saved maybe 15k. Couple more years and I probably pay cash for low mileage TLX. That said, I would not mind a lightly used 2014 TL SH-AWD first.

My '08 TL has 98,000 miles(drive 15k-17k a year). Timing belt/water pump replaced about 5,000 miles ago. Besides every door banger finding me in a parking lot and a few other cosmetic issues, she runs great! Keep up with the fluids, filters, brakes, etc. I see having her well over 200,000 miles!!

Just got back from a 2500 mile trip from Tampa to DC and NY in my 05 TL (original owner).
I dropped about $1400 bucks in maintenance before the trip.
She's got 208,xxx miles on her.

My TL is an 06 base AT and I just reached 100k miles. Bought it at 74k miles back in December 2014(I'm the second owner). Interior is still mint, runs smooth, the engine is quiet , still has plenty of kick especially after the timing belt change. Only drawback I can say is that the tranny went out on me at around 94k miles 😞😞. Got it rebuilt and it runs even better. Looking to keep this car for a WHILE. Acura will never make a car like this again!

Just hit 66k on my '07 TLS. Can't believe it's almost 10 years and still in mint condition although I wish I got that clear bra. I'm wondering if I should get the TB done on time or let it ride another year or two.
