Unique Style Racing Clear Tails & White Side Markers Installed!!!!
Alrigth guys....
I installed my clear tails and side markers today. Install was straight forward.
As far as the quality of the products go, I dont really have any complaints. I am however about to contact USR becasue of two issues -
1) a tab was broken on the rear side marker and therefore it fits loosley...
2) a screw part that goes thriough the finder and has a bolt attatch to teh other side broke almost instantly when I started to tighten down the bolt after installation.
Below is a teaser pic. I will get some night time shots tomorrow when I have some time.
I know I know, blue bulb turn signals have got to go. They light up super white and look slick, but they will get me pulled over quicker than anything. I am going to be clearing my headlights shortly as well to get the blacked out/cleared theme all over my car.
Any feedback would be great!

Looking good so far! I really like the tails. I'm looking forward to seeing what your car looks like after the headlights are cleared.

That what I thought, seems like everybody and there mother's got a set now. Looks good though, but not really feeling the rear white led side markers, it doesn't really flow with red led tail lights imo.
Kinda makes me not want to put the cleared out tails that I made even though mine are slightly different. I used oem 04-06 base, and oem types tails also leaving the gunmetal type s bezel inn.

Glad I am getting the approval for the tails! I wasnt sure how everyone else would like them on an AM. I love them, they really look slick and cut the colors on the car down to being more slick and smooth without looking to flashy.
Someone commented on the side markers being white and not flowing with the red LEDS in the tails....I also thought the same thing - but with white led license plate lights, it looks good. Also, I know I am going to get railed for this one - the white turn signals kinda set it off. I mean, regardless of how illegal they are, they complete the look. I may have to keep them until mr "fix it ticket" gets me.
For the fitment, I am noticing that it realy isnt 100%, atleast for the sidemarkers, more specifically the rear. I am not sure if it is just the ones I recieved or what, but they dont seem to sit flush with the side of the car. There is a funky gasket on it, which I am assuming is to keep moisture out, but it really leaves alittle bit of room between the side marker and the car, unlike the OEM side markers. You cant notice it unless your right on it, but it is pronounced enough that if you are to put your finger nail behind the side marker and pull out, it will become loose.
I contacted USR about this, and the other two issues, so we will see what he says! Othewrwise, everything with USR has been great - quick shipping - prompt email response - great packaging of the tails and what not. Seems to be a 100% trustworthy guy/business, as I am sure all vendors here on AcuraZine are!

i wonder how they'll look on NBP. i'm thinking pretty sick since the outer platform on the tails is black.
i'll post pics in my progress thread once they're installed, shortly thereafter i'm sending my lights to JnC to have A LOT of work done. i may just post heads n tails at the same time.
OP, they look nice on your ride. i wasn't sure how i felt about the white rear sidemarkers either, but since i just replaced all my lights with white led's, i'm sure it'll match up nicely with the license plate lights as well. i'll be able to look past the rears not being red like the lights in the tails, who cares?

There going to lok even better on NBP. I believe its Elelgant-TypeS that has the clear ones on his NBP. His avatar is a pic of it, check it out, looks amazing...

i'll await your response from USR about the issues you had.
i wonder if i can pick up some side marker gaskets from my acura dealer to replace the ones these come with...?
already picked up replacement oem gaskets for the tails, and some rtv sealant. hopefully that'll help.

There acually arent any gaskets on the stock side markers. I found this a little odd too, but it explains why the aftermarket ones that DO have (bulit in - sytuck on by 3m tape) gaskets dont fit right - because the gasket takes up room that wasnt being taken up by the OEM side markers....
As far as the gaskets on the tails, I just used the OEM ones, and didnt use any sealant or anything - and it seems to work just fine. Already took her through a car wash (touch less car wash of course) and there was no leaking or fogging/hazing whatsoever and Im thinking it will probably stay that way.
Goodluck on the install and dont forget to post some pics up of the final product!!!

Sick man.
Im considering tinting my taillights... but ifft about it.
I think the red gives it some character the tint would black it out alot and I dont wanna get pulled over for bullshit!
