I remember seeing a video on YouTube of an Asian guy running a KBP TL type S through its paces on a track. He was a professional, and I think he was Japanese. I remember seeing a video of him testing a Corvette against an S2000 against another car in Japan at one point also.

Do any of you know what I'm talking about? I'd really like to see the video again.

not japanese but i remember watching a english subbed version of this.. the guy driving says (if i remember correctly):
-car's power delivery and the gear changes are very smooth
-he was surprised at how the car likes to over steer into corners rather than under steer despite it being a FWD.. he mentioned how the back end rotates out of corners nicely
-he wished Japan sold the TL-S

keep in mind the guy driving is Keiichi Tsuchiya aka the Drift King... if you look him up on youtube you'll find an infinite amount of vids of him driving cars and taking it to the limit.. guy knows how to drive the shit out of cars especially the AE86.. so for this guy to give praise to the TL-S definitely means something

that video cause so many butt hurt on CL and G35 driver forum back in the day, because a 286 HP FWD can out ran their 305 HP RWD in two full seconds despite the RWD>FWD. If you search on google it still come up.

Lol yeah I remember that. Pretty sure there is shit stirred under the comments as well, but I was impressed to see the TL-S out run the G35 around this track.

I though honda paid hin to win BUT after driving my friend 07 G35 sedan and a 08 IS350 i have to say the suspension set up in the Type S is best. I can see why its able to out run the other two. Straight line performance there is bo way in hell TL-S can keep up with the other two.
