They're definitely uncommon in some areas. Another reason why one might not see one from time to time is probably because the car itself is 6-7 years old. But that didn't stop me from getting mine. I love the way the car looks which is why I chose it.

It probably doesn't help that the 3 series, C Class, IS, run rampant in my area. I wanted something different and I think the TL-S does a fine job doing that.

In my college area, there are already 2 TL-S. And one on the next block where I live.

Yeah i hear that^^^

My turn... So if the MT TL-S's are so rare then explain this. Yes they are both MT's and at the time of this photo they were both mine :-) ones an 07 and the other an 08. bad ass! Since I know some will ask me to explain why I have two identical TL-S's, its because I bought one and it had an issue that myself or the dealers could not figure out. It had a weird surge feeling during acceleration that drove me nuts. It was minor, but I knew it was there. Since no one could figure it out I sold it and bought another haha.

as far as a mainstream car, they're fairly rare.

07+ G35/G37S 6MT sedans are more commonly found. Any TL with a manual is relatively rare. there are a ton more of 5ATs within a 100 mi radius and only a handful of 6MTs. Then there's the consideration of whether or not they're fit to buy.

There is currently only one TL-S in a 200mi radius from me with a 6MT on the trader. 13 04-08 manual TLs inlc. the aforementioned vs. 158 04-08 5ATs.

ran out of edit time, but lets do it again at 500 miles. only 3 TL-S 6MTs including the one mentioned above.

you might live by a handful but keep expanding your area and it doesnt increase by much, at least in fairly dense socal.

"Any Distance" pulls up 15 TL-S at what i would assume is nation wide. Seeing a few in a small area doesnt really mean they're common. I live in a fairly upper end area and see more GT-Rs and Audi R8s than I do TL-S. There's 225 Used Audi R8s "Any Distance" from LA. 181 used GT-Rs.

On auto trader right now there’s only around 6 for sale with mt. Searching the whole United States.
