Ok, I'm back from Hamilton Honda, the TB price for Acura is $498 and $98 for the tensioner, I was there at 7:30am and out by 12:30.
I did ask my service advisor Jonathan about paying the $398 and he said that was last month's price. And that it would go up next month! I would have liked to pay $100 less, but I'm still saving over going to Precision. My total was $629.14 out the door. Good waiting room with free coffee and wi-fi. [/IMG]

See my response to your identical post 7 threads above this one.
Bottomline: Tell them you forgot to use the website's coupon and see what they say.

I'm confused. Their website did say and still does say $398 + a possible $75 for the tensioner is necessary. It used to expire 12/15 (which is still nearly a week off) and now shows exiry on 12/31..........
Not sure if there is anything you can do now.

I think they raised the prices for the ACURA vehicles. Why I have no idea.

I just looked again and it does say Honda's only. Too many AZiners taking advantage of the deal I guess.

In the past, it said "Hondas only", but that still included Acuras (I was one of them). Sounds like they may have tightened the rules of late?

I'll bet it was because so many Acuras have been coming in there for the timing belt job and they were only breaking even at the $398 + $75 for the tensioner price.

if there a different process when replacing a timng belt on an 06 V6 accord, vs an 06 TL?
It's the same engine and same parts are removed.

I don't know how different a process it could be. The mechanic who did mine there finished in just under 4 hours.
