Measure width of otips

Compare to opening of base TL bumper

if opening > width of tips = fits
else = no fit

*edited*

I found a thread where people were putting tips on a stock bumper, and the claim is that the cutouts are 6.5 inches...https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...-849764/page2/

So assuming that this ebay vendor's measurements are exactly on spec, then it will be a very tight fit. I would worry about melting your plastic.

Yeah will not fit at all I already tried on my old TL. Ended up getting the Type S rear lip so they can fit
and it was still a tight fit.

BULLSEYE, which ones are you referring to when you said they will not fit? I assume the ebay ones that OP posted

Finally someone posted a lipless base with quads. Thank you, Mr. Showtime. I was thinking about doing the same, but I'm gonna hold out for a rear lip.

It's funny because I was eyeing that exact same quad tip lol. I didn't buy because i was unsure of my current/future exhaust setup. Good to know it doesn't fit.

No problem. A few months later I put on a full aspec kit and the SoCal quads still fit without issues.

Almost any decent shop can remove the factory exhaust bezel and trim the clearance for the tips. Finished with 1/8th self gripping U-channel and it looks sweet. I'm going to trim mine to fit type S mufflers.

Looks good, but would've looked better if they sat little higher.
