NYC owners how do you it???
I just got my aspec lip kit on and I have been hit 3x on the rear, the last time was just too much...some douche bag pretty much scratched a line of paint off my bumper with his plate or screw or whatever the fuq it was!!! But he totally fuqed up my shiet.
How do you guys keep it clean??? I'm to the point where I just want to kick in the mirror of whoever was behind me, though it may be an innocent bystander...but still...WTF is up with bad parkers....
Saw another thread and I will probably have to pick up the bumper bully to save myself from this shiet... BUt no worries, i agree with everyone on it..driving with it around is retarded, i'll put it away when I'm done.

Yeah but the problem with the 3M or Venture shield is that .. it will protect the paint but you'll get this ugly ass bubble in the flim when someone hits it. And now you're sitting there replacing that.. so I think bumper bully is it.
I know the feeling.. this is why when I go to the city I never street park it.. always garage it but I know its expensive.

Garage F**Ked my TL-s. Last year a week after i had purchased my car, i garaged parked and i noticed my side mirror got scraped badly. I had to touch it up. Recently I garage parked and when the valet was bringing my car back, the valet literally just changed gears while the car was still in motion. Which can really F***K up your trans.
5 yrs ago when i garage parked in the city, they scraped off my front bumper.
I have better luck parking on the street with bumper bully. I got my rear bumper painted 3 times already. Its really tough to keep your car clean in ny

bumper bully is the way to go. I take it out when im parking and put it away when im going to drive off. I left the car park for 3 nights without it and it now has 3 scratches. fking bastards around my building dont know how to park without hitting the car in front of them.

BTW valets drive your car like an angry nutcase 99% of the time. I don't know where the hell they are accelerating to?? I always make a comment and they think I'm a dick. So what, it's my property.....and they have the balls to do that shit in your face....on top of that they want a tip??? For raping your car? Next time I see it happen again = formal complaint to management. Sick of the NY attitude!

the problem is that I don't even take my car to Manhattan...all my dings and bumper scratches happen in QUEENS of all places where there is parallel parking and its not that bad.. I just don't get it. Bumper Bully it is, the badger looks too cheap for me.
D-Mac, talk about paranoid! stealing the bumper badger now too??? but yea they have straps that go into your trunk, i guess you could steal it if you pulled hard enough or cut the attachment straps that go into your trunk.

I'm Bronx-born/raised and when I bought a car I hated the street parking because people have no respect for other's property. I moved out of NYC in 1996, but I visit often. My 3G has never been to NYC and if it ever make it there.... it probably will not be parked nor will it stay overnight. You'd thing a garage would be sort of a safe haven, but with those reckless attendants... I don't think so.

Garage is just as dangerous as parking your car on the street. On top of that you pay your car to leave it in the garage. Yea those valet guys are in a hurry to go somewhere or perhaps they've never been inside a nice luxurious car before and they are jealous. Hence raping the car due to anger. I bitch at them for raping my car and give them no tip.

...yet another reason why I take NJ Transit into the city and don't drive.
