Is my TL supposed to have an antenna?

I bought a 2004 SSM Acura TL Auto w/navi a few days ago.
Is there supposed to be an antenna on the roof?

Thanks.
Is that a Canadian model? Canadian models don't have XM, hence no antenna.

is it the lighting or is that bumper really off (color wise) from the rest of the car?

oh and +1 to the post above, canadian model TL's do not have the antenna.

OP- where are you located?

Based on the lack of hole in the roof where the antenna would be, I'm going to assume it's a Canadian model. Like others said, the 04-06 TLs in Canada didn't get XM.

Ah, that explains it.
I'm from Ontario.

The colour is probably from the lighting and not to mention it was repainted.
It was repainted when I bought the car, because the previous owner was a horrible driver. Scrapes everywhere.

He offered to paint the car at a body shop.
He painted everything when I agreed to buy the car.
He had to repaint the front and the sides also.
The sides and front look SSM, don't they?
I don't know why he'd use a different paint for the bumper, while the sides and front bumper look good.

Yes I plan on purchasing the tow hook cover.

SSM and WDP have problems with paint mismatching on the bumpers. Nothing to really worry about, just is annoying.

Alright, thanks everybody =)
Also, yes, I'm very lucky the guy included A-Spec rims.
The tires have little life left, though =(

serious question? who listens to the radio in 2016!?!?!??!?!?

the radio antennas are embedded into the defroster grids ...so likely, there IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO!

I do as does my wife. We don't pay for XM in either car. When we travel and can't find a radio station, we "might" turn on Pandora, but we usually listen to regular FM radio.

LOL noooooo , I love listening to the radio. I don't always listen to music when I drive. That's really stupid how they lined the antenna into the rear glass 😑 Any suggestions to fix the signal?

^in researching your question, I did find many people on acurazine complaining of weak signals. so, it may NOT just be you, and just be a TL thing

Is your rear windshield tinted? They have my nicked a line which would lead to poor signal. Check the lines on the rear windshield to see if there's any damage.

stop living in country side guy. Well I never had any issue with my radio despite I spend 2 years in the mountain country side and the rest here in Houston.

I have had no issues with the radio reception on mine, however, I really think its where you live. I am in Springfield, MO and have no issues, but when I go back to NJ where I am from its horrible. I think with more stations and more interference it causes problems.

Wha?? From you??
My car rarely leaves the KC metro, but no issues with reception here. We went to St. Louis a few weeks back and as usual, we had to jump stations a total of three times which is normal for the drive as we cross the state. KC stations make it about 80-100 miles out, then switch to Columbia/Jeff City stations, then to St. Louis stations. Roughly the same distances in my TL as in my wife's Terrain.
