Mine did that as well. It is programmed to automatically adjust for daylight savings time. I think President Bush was the one who pushed it back a week a few years ago, hence the discrepancy. My clock @ work did the same thing

The law was changed in 2007. Originally DST ran from the last Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October. In the mid-1980s it was extended to the first Sunday in April through the last Sunday in October. For years various parents' groups, and the candy industry, had been agitating for a one-week extension in the fall so that DST would end AFTER Halloween. Earlier this decade Congress passed a bill, and Bush signed it, extending DST to run from the second Sunday in March through the first Sunday in November. That took effect in 2007.
If your TL was manufactured prior to the new law taking effect, it will change to and from daylight saving (not "savings") time on the wrong date. The easiest solution is just to disable the auto-DST function and change it yourself. Or you can just ignore it. In the fall that's easy enough because it will "correct" after one week when the clocks actually go back. In the spring it's more of a problem due to the longer delay between when the clocks actually go ahead and when your Navi thinks they do.
This year happens to be the latest possible date DST can end under current law (November 7)—if November 8 falls on Sunday, so does November 1, such that DST would end on November 1.
As an aside, if you deal with anyone in Europe on a regular basis, you have to adjust for a shorter time difference this week because their clocks went back this past Sunday. So London is normally five hours ahead of Eastern Time. This week it's four hours ahead. (That's why the NFL always schedules the Wembley game for the last Sunday in October—it's slightly more favorable for TV in that a 5 PM kickoff in London means it's 1 PM on the US East Coast.)

NOTE: this is on an *RL* not a TL but I would expect it to work the same for the TL.
AND they're having a sale on the disks!
So at least I can confirm that a new disk WILL fix the DST issue on an RL and suggest that it may work a fix on the TL also. (as always) YMMV.

My '02 RL navi with a 2008 disc does not have this issue. I'm going to guess this is something fixed around '07/'08 disc version.
