I live in San Diego and when it starts to get warm throughout the day my door locks do not operate. I can hear them struggling but they will not unlock or lock.
In the mornings or when it’s cold outside I have no issues. The key fob allows the vehicle to unlock and lock.

Sounds to me like it's not your fob if its getting the signal.
