Key Fob Only Works Sometimes
2012 RDX-
I am the only driver so I use key #1. Key #1 stopped working so I replaced the battery. I tested it and it seemed to work fine. After that time whenever I go to use it, it hardly works. So I decided to switch to Key #2, which had a dead battery from previous. It is nice and new, seems hardly used - Yay! I changed the battery and it seemed to work okay. A few days pass and I am having the same issue. Now, the main issue seems to be that it the key fob will work ONLY when the switchblade key is out. When it is in, nothing lights up or anything. I have taken things apart and have them together to the best of my abilities, but I do not know what to do. I do not want to have to go to the dealer!
