How to Perform the "Inspect" part of a B12 Service?
Yeah yeah, i know what the service is, but I want to do it myself. So the B12 service states that I need to inspect the following.
Inspect:
1. Front and rear brakes
2. Parking brake adjustment
3. Tie rod ends, steering gear box, and boots
4. Suspension components
5. Driveshaft boots
6. Brake hoses and line (including ABS)
7. All fluid levels and condition of fluids
8. Exhaust system
9. Fuel lines and connections
What do I look for? Now I could just bring it to the dealer and have them do it, but then how will I learn? Any help is appreciated.

Brakes have wear indicators on them. It's the small square metal piece that faces the rotors. As the pads wear down, the indicator gets close to the rotor. Acura's recommendation is to replace your pads at 2mm pad thickness.
For the suspension, you'll either have to raise the car up, or take off your wheels at each corner to inspect. You'd check to any "abnormalities" (it is HIGHLY unlikely that you'll find any), and possibly any type of oil leaking. If you don't find any of that stuff, and you don't hear any noise while driving, or the car is driving fine, you're good to go.

the main thing you need to check is the rubber boots on the cv axles bearings are not torn
look carefully for any trace of grease splatter on them
everything else is use your eyes
In the owner book is pretty much all you need to know- shows where all the dipsticks and things are- how to check each thing
learn by reading it,, and look at the DIY threads here on brakes to know what to look for.
the squeeler tab is at 2mm so if it hits the rotor you know it!!
