Front bumper plugs
I've done a search and found that most people were able to pick up the front bumper plugs that fill the license plate holder holes from their dealers. Well, I went to my dealer and they claim they don't have any and that they'd have to order them for me.
Can anyone give me advice on any particular dealer I could call to get them sent to me for free or does anyone have an extra set of NBP ones they could send me? I'll pay shipping of course.

The dealer forgot to give me a pair also, I just drove to the dealer asked to speak to the person who sold me the car. He couldn't find any (apparently they lock them up in a safe along with other spare parts).
After awhile he just went out to another car in the lot and took them off and gave them to me. I don't see what the big deal is, I would try to give them a call again. Worse comes to worse speak to the general manager at the place and see what he has to say.

Well, their whole thing was that they don't actually come with the plugs...that they come to the dealer with the license plate attachment thing on already. So I'm not sure that they could even take them off a new one.

They usually throw the plugs in the glove box or stick them in one of the storage spaces in the car. What you need to do is go to the service department and talk to the guy who does the setup when they get a new car. If he didn't put them in your car, he should have a set somewhere to give to you.
A new set of plugs costs around $26. If they have to order them, make sure that you are not the one who is paying for them, because you should have gotten them when you got the car.

If getting them off a dealer fails, you can buy them:

Went to take my front plate frame off, and the dealer drilled a third through an upper point on the bracket. Anything I can do about it? Is there a way to fill it or something?

The dealer should replace the bumper since he had no right to deface your car, especially when it wasn't something he needed to do in the first place.

I wouldn't be surprised if the dealers throw them away when installing a tag bracket. I know we did where I used to work. You may have to request one of the technicians save a set the next time they pull 'em off.
I did just that when I bought my '97 Integra, and had them pull a set off a red Integra for my brother's '96.

How can i get rid of the holes on the license plate holder?
Alright, so im taking off the front plate but i see that there are two holes drilled on the bumper (to hold the plates obviously). I put the screws backs on bc the holes just looked stupid as hell alone. Can i get some kind of caps to cover these holes? Thanks

iiicc. 11 bucks plus shipping. Im gonna let my dealers get it for me. They are gonna get it from me this week bc they still couldnt fix the rattling noise. This is the 4th visit in 5 weeks.... yes the car is only 5 and a half weeks old

Why don't you do what I did. Contact a dealer in a state that requires front license plates ( like Texas ) where they throw the plugs away and tell them what color you need. They sent me some free.

The two holes are normal. The car comes off the truck with the little covers though, and it was yoru dealer who took them off and put the plate on.

When you get your plugs, could you verify whether you had to pay for 1 (like in a package of 2) or if you had to pay for 2 plugs?

Looks like this guy is probably a mechanic at a local acura and just puts them in his pocket when he puts the license plates on:

Dude, F-That.. My dealership has a BOX full of them that they take out because they always put on the front license plate holder. I walked in and they just gave them to me. If you want some I'll go back to my dealer and get another set and drop them in an envelope to you. e-mail me at jeff@jtow.net
Later.

charging for bumper plugs
My dealer, Tischer Acura in Laurel, Maryland wants to charge $20.00 a piece for the plugs. I told them that the plugs should be given to me since they were originally on the car and I was told that they did not come with the car. Am I being bull shitted by them?

absolutely. I just cursed my dealership off bc they couldnt fix my problems with the car and i was supposed to have an appointment tmr but they called me off. When i go to the dealership next week, they better have a red carpet out for me or all the employees there will have their days ruined

i went to pickup the plugs today at the dealer where i bought my car.
i first called them and the phone operator forwarded me to the PARTS department. the guy there told me that its $16 for EACH plug and I would need TWO of those. I told him that it should came with the car as it was on there before they put the license frames on there...he said NO. So i called them again but this time spoke with the sales lady who sold me the car. At first she said it's illegal to not have the front plates..but i told her again that i still want them and she told me just go there and pick it up from her. No trouble at all

Sup guys, this is my first post to this forum...see you guys around.
I just got my TL last saturday and right after I read this post I went right to my sales person, (dealers only a couple minutes away) He said the covers for the holes should of been in the glove compartment as someone had said earlier in this post. Of course it was not there. He promised me next week when I go in for the simonize crap he would get me a pair from another car. They automatically put on the license plate holder as soon as the car comes into the shop for prep. Illinois stupid law. :whocares: no one ever follows the rule.

My state (FL) doesn't require a front tag on car. I told my sales person that I didn't want them to mount the tag bracket on car at all. Of course once I got there to take delivery of it the bracket was on there.
He said he didn't have any control over it since that is basically the first thing they do to the car when it rolls off the truck.
The plugs were in the glove box just like they should've been. No problems there at all.

they really should get those for you. tell them to hang on to someone else's when they put the plate on theirs and give it to you.
