Footwell Lighting and Passanger Footwell Lighting
recently ive been thinking about getting footwell lighting for my car and i did a search and found lots of great information but im just wondering who else has installed footwell lighting and if anyone has ordered these http://www.theneonedge.com/interior/interior.htm and if they look good or not, i was thinking because it says they give you 4 15" neon tubes so ill put 2 in the front and 2 in the passanger footwells and it comes with a switch and everything im just wondering is this a quality product and is it worth it? thanks again

no advice to give, but i was thinking about putting somekind of neon light where it says ACURA on the side when you open the door. But I think that would be impossible. Cool looking I think, you know do it to all four doors

yea that would be awesome, there was a thread on here about someone who used glowpaint and painted the acura thing with it and it looked really sweet....

personally...i would never put that crap under my car because thats rediculous but this i deem doable.....especially when most of the cars lighting is ambient blue....which is awesome but if these had a switch i could take care of the problem with the flick of a button....

The RL has ambient blue lighting in the footwell. I believe there is an LED in each footwell but I didn't look closely.
Adding a single large LED with an inverted lens to each footwell would produce a nice diffuse glow without being overwhelming...similar to the effect we have in our cupholder area.

Do a search and you will find a thread about this topic. Another member has a mod for the door sill in the works. There were even sample pics in the thread. It looks pretty nice.
