Certified Preowned Warranty?
Hey guys I had a question and was wondering if anyone had delt with some similar issues.
I got my car about three months ago it is obviously CPO. Well when I first got it I drove it around and took it on the highway (I bought the car from out of state and did not test drive it, dumb I know). Well I noticed the car had some shaking issues at around 60 to 65mph. I took it to get the wheels balanced and they (being discount tire) said one or two of the wheels have bends in them. So they rebalanced my tires, I took the car and left (I was in a hurry). Car seems to be running a little smoother at the speeds.
Yesterday, I took the car back in to discount tire, because my tires weren't holding pressure I was thinking great another hole (already had one of the tires replaced due to a "heat ring"). Anyways, come to find out that the wheel is cracked.
I was wondering if this stuff could be replaced under the CPO warranty, I know I've heard some people say they've had their wheels and tires replaced before. Anyone have any idea?
I know that downtown Dallas is rough with potholes but I thought the rims on this car could handle it (especially with all the people I see driving around with 20 in rims running through pot holes and this car has only 15,000 mi), I baby this car.
Thanks

Call the Acura dealer in the area, but IMHO a bent/cracked wheel is not a defect in workmanship or material, and far from normal use.
With these low profile tires, many have experienced bent/cracked wheels. I'm one of them. Hit a pot hole that was in the shadow of an overpass, cracked a spoke on the right front and bent the right rear.
