Hey, i ave a 04 TL 159k miles, everything works good so far and ive been driving it awhile now,long story short, bought the car fine,drove it awhile,then i noticed the dash cluster had two lights covered up with black tape, remove the cluster and sure enough it was, the VSA lght was covered up ABS light was already on, anywho i got the codes read and heres the codes that popped up...

YUP! 8 ABS codes were flushed out of the car when checked and im not sure what they mean, i think 2 of the 8 codes are wheel sensors which i could care less about, but im curious what these other ones are and what id need to do to fix them? or at least what to start with to see if i can get them off! the car runs and drives fine, brakes seem fine, obviously i dont think ABS works? or VSA but im not positive, or if the codes are linked somehow? id appreciate someone who knows their abs system to educate me on this! lol

also guys i want to know which transmission fluid is best for these MANUAL 6MT transmissions? all my gears go in like butter, and i have noticed the third gear you can feel it vibrate just a little if you keep your hand on the shifter while driving, only sometimes tho, sometimes you dont feel anything at all not even the car vibration of the road etc.. im thinking a trans fluid change would help maybe keep the gears in good condition!.. thanks!

17-01 Left Rear Wheel Sensor Open circuit (Most likely bad sensor)
18-01 Left Rear Wheel Sensor Malfunction (Most likely bad sensor)
25-01 Yaw Rate Sensor Malfunction (Bad Sensor or bad ground somewhere)
61-01 Battery Voltage Malfunction (Bad Battery or bad wiring somewhere.)
64-01 Sensor Supply Voltage Malfunction (Bad Battery or bad wiring.)
66-01 Brake Pressure Sensor Malfunction (Most likely bad Brake Switch)
84-01 Sensor Logic Malfunction (Needs to be reprogrammed with a scan tool that can do honda ABS)
86-01 Can Related failure (Needs reprogramming with honda level scan tool)

With all these malfunctions i can only assume that the ABS/VSA Module itself is bad because you have just about every code popping up. It could also be a bad Left Rear Wheel sensor, Battery and/or wiring, Brake switch, and it needs to be reprogrammed, 84 & 86 are calibration and reprogramming issues, Yaw Rate, I have had this issue, it was just a low battery and rusty ground but it very well could be the sensor itself. The reprogramming can be done without the scan tool but it is very tedious but do-able. I doubt all these are issues and hate to throw parts at the issue, I would try and get it reprogrammed and change the battery then see what is left.
