Nawwww...I have a reservation with SIlverFox Audi Cuck but I'm canceling.
Yeah it would probably be a nice hassle free A4 but 'd be at nearly $500 with the supplemental insurance and I'll just be in another sedan.

Ended up renting a convertible mustang/camaro instead. Convertible as the sun sets in the desert will be epic. Plus Im sure it's an EB so I'll get decent gas mileage. We will be driving a LOT.
Almost did Turo for a Prius or Challenger but limited to 1000 miles and I'm sure we'll easily do that.

SuperSpeeders Rob just did a video on renting mustangs.
well, the original topic was bait and switch from a lower tier rental service.
Rob originally rented a "luxury" for 35 dollars a day, or something like that...but then got the whole bait and switch and the rental company ended up giving him a mustang for the same price.
but a mustang is a coupe and more like an econo car and not a "luxury" type.

the irony is they had a 4 series convertible for cheaper than some of the mustangs
i recall going to key west once and seeing like 100 rental eb mustang convertibles...
one of the only times where convertible will demand enough of a premium to pay off the car faster.

After the added insurance and whatnot...$140 a day will turn into a $1200-1500 bill.
A vette would be even smaller inside, although cool.

the mustang being or not being a sports car is relevant? not sure that was even a prerequisite in my search.

Bottom line, shit box would be around $250...upgrade to maybe a camry would be $350...this was a "fun" convertible for $500 with decent gas mileage and nice looks.
Anything too far over that would be an upgrade, yes...but for what? There's an equilibrium point where to me, the cost to upgrade further will not enhance the experience any more for the money.
