2G TL Wing Spoiler on 3G TL
Has anyone attempted to fit a 2G TL wing spoiler on a 3G TL?

spoiler on a 3 gen TL = looking wack, I would rather stick with deck spoiler.

Well, I like the lower profile of the 99-03 spoiler. Never much cared for the look of a lip spoiler, I think they look cheap in my opinion, I do like the Sarona roof spoiler though.
I took some measurements of the rear of the 3G...now I just need the 2G measurements.
Uploaded attachments of the measurements.
I guess the biggest concern I have is the overhang present on both models. On the 3G it is 7" from the rear to the side angle line. So long as this is similar to the 2G, I think I'd be OK.

I have the wing spoiler.... 
I think it looks fantastic on my car. The lip spoiler is just boring to me, but OP I would just stick with a 3G wing spoiler rather than trying to make the 2G one fit.

All 2007-2008 Type-S has a lip spoiler.
Some 2004-2008 base models come with a "base" model lip spoiler.
There are 2 different kinds of factory lip spoilers for the 3G.
There's the Type-S lip spoiler which is taller and looks more bold and aggressive.
Than there's the base model lip spoiler which doesn't look anywhere near aggressive and it's smaller than the Type-S lip spoiler.
Go search google images and you will see what I'm talking about.
