200K Timing Belt Service Parts List
Whats up guys!
I'm preparing for the big 200K service on my Base model TL. I am trying to round up a parts list of everything I possibly might need. I know an awesome mechanic I work with that is going to help me along the process. Unfortunately, the day we both have off is the same day the local Honda dealership is closed. I want to be able to buy all the parts I might need in advance because I'd rather have to return what I didn't use, rather have my only daily driver disabled for the upcoming work week. So far this is what I think I am going to need, please chime in on anything else you think I might have missed!
-Timing Belt
-Timing Belt Idlers and Tensioner
-Water Pump
-Thermostat w/ gasket
-NGK Spark Plugs
-Accessory belts
-Cam Seals
That is all I can think about. I would rather spend more money on items that may end up going bad over the next 100K miles while the car is apart, than have to unnecessarily have to go back in and replace something that I overlooked, when I could have taken care of it during this major service. Thanks Guys!

The only other thing I would recommend is a new serpentine belt idler and maybe a crank seal if your mechanic knows how to install it (I would think at that mileage cam seals would be a very good idea as well). I had inquired about cam/ crank seals as part of a 105K kit but no one really responded (I believe 1 did). At that mileage though, it's probably a decent idea.
I just had a 120K kit on my 93 300ZX and cam/ crank seals are part of the job as a standard replacement.
