'04-'08 TL A/C Delete serpentine belt size

Hello all,

I will be doing an a/c delete compressor, all hoses, tubes etc...

has anyone done this and would know what size serpentine belt or the part number of said belt would be needed for the delete

thank you

didn't find much searching just some simple drawings of how the belt would be rerouted

Im not sure of the belt size but this might help. get a string and wrap it around the pulleys.
Then measure the string and minus a couple of inches of slack for the tensioner

I can confirm, 69.5 fits. Super tight, do NOT go any smaller than that. I think 70 might be a better fit, I installed it on an 08 TL Base. Did this to bypass the noisy / shitty a/c pulley to bye some extra time. It's winter and it was drawing extra on the battery for starts, bearing is obviously shot on the a/c pulley, loud and scratchy sound. Plus this will allow me to take the compressor right off without worrying. Say the connection piece that transferrers to the new one is stuck, I can bring it to a Machinist / drill press and have it drilled out and the car will still be drivable.

I will list the belt I used below, got it right from Advanced Auto. I'll list a cross-reference chart for equivalent belts as well. A tip to get this snug fitting belt on is to get it on track with all the pulley's and guide. You want to get it mostly on, around the crank, bottom guide, alternator. Then about 3/4 of the belt width on the auto-tensioner and then push it up over the edge of the power steering pulley side wall. Keep pushing it on the point of tension at the power steering side wall until it pops into place up over the edge. It's a MF'r for sure. But hey, I'd rather have it snug then loose, not sure if they make a 70" belt.
