If you inspect the photograph you posted, you may find that there is an electrical connector midway through the dangling portion of the wire. It is an off-white colour and appears to have some black foam adhesive tape wrapped around a portion of it.
If you encounter this situation in the future, you may find that disconnecting the visor at that junction will allow you to remove the visor from it's inconvenient position. Please make sure that after you remove it, you store it in a safe manner so that it does not become more problematic.
For example, placing it in the trunk is good idea. Placing it on the floor in front of the driver seat is not as good of an idea as it may become disturbed and wedged under the accelerator or brake pedal, causing unintended loss of control of the vehicle.

I remember removing the visor from my old TL...
dude, it comes out and goes in so wonky and it's hard to know if you got it twisted in properly.
Annoying as hell.
Oh, and I agree with Mr. Goodman, unplugging it and not having it banging against your nipples the whole ride home would have been real smart.

Acura corporate has sent a privisory to their customers to not operate the vehicle in those conditions. The folly of doing so can have serious consequences. Corporate advises parking your vehicle in a safe location and call your closest dealership. A service advisor will arrange the transport on top of a flatbed truck which will be equipped with air conditioning and a television for your comfort. Upon arriving at the dealership, the head supervisor will kindly greet you and have their top master technician look at the problem.
The service shop does have an advisory (TSB) on this issue with communication from corporate on the actions to fix the known problem. Unfortunately at this current time, the solution to the issue is still being developed. Several Acura designers are working in conjunction with Honda engineers to develop a device that will be sustainable. In the mean time, the current solution involves improvising a clip to hold the visor in place until the new component is released. It would be prudent to revisit the dealership when a permanent solution has been developed. Hopefully this issue doesn't cause a divide in your confidence in one of Acura's greatest products. It's my observation that the corporate vision seems unclear at times, but the safety of their customers is of utmost importance.

Got it back in place. As diagrams above state, you start with visor rotated towards the door and it fits back in. No force required. Then rotate visor to windshield and it secures.
So their must be a "sweet" spot when you are pulling visor away from the windshield that any downward pressure will pop it out.
