Old School Rules (Or in this case, has less streaks)
Three weeks ago I had local Acura dealer put new wiper blades on my 2014 PAWS. As you would expect, the new blades did better than the old blades and these are the third set of OEM blades in 34K miles. However, the new blades still had the infernal "streaking" that has plagued my RLX.
I put PIAA wipers on my 2006 RL and loved how they wiped the windshield. They also lasted 3X longer than OEM blades, too.
Today the RLX got new PIAA wiper blades in "old style" wiper mounts (not the continuous curve wiper bracket). The difference was as hoped: no streaks!
Note: Old style sectioned metal wiper holder on left and removed OEM continuous curve on right. The old style wiper blade holder apparently puts more continuous pressure the full length of the wiper blade than does the one piece wiper blade holder.

Interesting. We have the issue on our '13 Accord. May try the fix you've found. THanks.

It is a appearance versus performance trade-off. The old style also is a bit more difficult to chop the ice away than the lower profile blade holder. I look at the old style and see an old fashioned truss type river bridge with its angled metal braces. However, this is a case of function over form as those streaks are distracting on a rainy day.

Drove two hours in misty to moderate rain today and the wipers did better than the OEM wipers. NeuronBob, I apologize for not starting this thread in the Problems & Fixes section. Please move it there if you deem it best in that section.
