NAV / Infotainment Color?
Curious, what color do most of you have your NAV / Infotainment system set to?
I was using the default "blue" for the longest time and recently switched over to the emerald like "green", and I really like it. tends to match the rest of the dash colors and the ambient button lighting better than the blue. The "amber" and the "red" seem too out of place and don't match the feeling of the car IMO.
I do wish they had a gray or "white" color scheme that matched the white color of the speed/RPM gauges.

My first post...sorry no intro. I've got the Seacoast interior, and chose the amber color scheme....i thought it wworked well w/ the footwell lighting, the brown-toned trim pieces, etc. And i think it's a more 'warm' color, if you will.
It would be nice if we could select most colors within the 0-255 range (of course someone would choose 0 0 0 or 255 255 255 and wind up taking it back to the dealer to 'fix'.
I guess I've gotten tired of seeing the same four colors since my 2005 Accord Hybrid.

I'm using the default blue as the most legible, but I'll think about switching to amber and see how I feel about that.

Glad to see George responded....if i might hijack the thread for a moment...you mentioned you found out / knew there'd be no dye transfer to your seacoast interior / seats. Could i ask how you found that out? I did experience it with the accord ('ivory' leather).
Back on track...how many of you turn off the upper screen, especially at night? If i don't need the nav, i find myself turning it off, usually. Wish i could turn off the lower one, too, but at least it stays fairly dim until called upon...

Re: center stack colors. I don't see many people talking about how polarized sunglasses pretty much obliterate the lower screen. I've tried three different pair and they all change the colors enough to make some things unreadable. Anyone else?

Not sure what to do about it.
The HUD is an issue, too.

I checked this this afternoon driving home...didn't notice any color / image distortion. My shades are $20 cheapies (too many lost), but they are polarized. I've experienced that distortion in other cars, so i know what you mean...but not in this one...not yet

Rotate
I rotate my colors every week just for funsies. I believe my favorite in order are:
On a related note, I do not like how the bottom screen gets washed out when the energy saver mode kicks in.
- Red
- Amber
- Blue
- Green

You can keep the ODMD (lower screen) at a constant brightness - select 'more', then screen (or display) options...I'm not in the car to look at it right now. It might be on the 3rd page of the menu, but it's there...30 / 60 /120 sec or 'never'.
Additionally, if you dont sync the lower screen brightness with the upper, that should allow you to keep the lower one as bright as you want.

Tried amber for a while.
Went back to blue.
It's probably just me, but I find the blue to be the most legible.

Map updates are usually published in the fall of every year. If you have a car built in 2013, then there is probably a relevant update, but there's no guarantee that it would solve the problem that you have.
Do Google Maps and Mapquest show correctly the area you're talking about?

I always wear polarized sunglasses and they filter out infotainment screen and some of the nav screen. I have also heard that they block out hud as well.
