travelling back home on 130 mile trip
Traffic went out 15 minutes in
Called Acuralink Agent and they couldn't do anything
Stopped at store 5 minutes from Home and when I restarted Traffic was back on
So I assume a reboot would have fixed early on

Electrical gremlins are a pain in the butt. Thankfully, this one is not a safety issue. I haven't had this particular issue, but based on your continued difficulty with Acuralink, I've been just using my phone instead. Waze works wonders....but if you're paying for Acuralink, you should be getting what you're paying for, and if the hardware isn't up to it....

made reverse trip Tuesday. Traffic on in SF Bay area. I'm going over Bay Bridge and further east on I80 comes to view in screen. There is no traffic shown east of I680. Continue driving and I see traffic flow where I'm driving but not about 20 miles ahead of me. When I get to that area, traffic flow is gone. Soon after the lower left traffic icon disappears. Call tech support - they say no outage in area.
I continue for the next 60 miles with no traffic flow displayed. Stop for coffee and when restart - traffic appears.

So something triggers system that no traffic available and it does not reset until car reboots.

Most likely the telematics unit needs to be replaced. Its an easy fix, if the service department decides to change it.
