Weird window question

I had parked the car in direct sunlight and was gone for about 2 hours. The doors were locked while I was away.
When I returned, I hit the unlock button on the remote, and the doors unlocked, but also all 4 door windows opened about 1/2 inch. I got in and drove away, but the windows stayed open 1/2 inch.
I closed them all manually.
Is this normal?
Is this some type of ventilation safety/convenience issue?
Has this happened to you guys?
Thanks for the feedback guys!

If you read your manual , you'll note that when you press the unlock on the key fob and then press and hold again, all the windows open down for as long as you hold it.

It's a feature !

The remote has an all windows down and sunroof open feature. You have to unlock the doors, release, and press/hold the remote to start the feature. You have to use the key inside the FOB at the door lock to close everything up at the same time OR jump in the car and close everything manually.

I had a similar issue with my other Acura's of putting the FOB in my pocket and the unlock button get clicked by accident while walking away. I would come back to the vehicle for lunch or after work and find my windows (and sunroof) slightly open. Key FOB cover help me from inadvertently hitting the button.
