Sorry for the dirty car but it's winter here in CANADA =P

Man . Looks great . I think white is the best color for Aspec . Very storm trooper-ish.

OK, I'm sold. I see several on EBay that look similar (but are thy identical?) Do you have a part number or something to aim me in the right direction?
Wish I could find some kind of brake caliper cover in red too (mine is a 2019 A-Spec white ext/ black int)

I bought the type R engine cover, tried fitting it but could not get the holes to line up. Can you tell me how you got it to fit properly.

Is the Engine Cover plug and play? Or are different bolts needed to install this, example the Type R bolts that are used to hold it down in the Type R?

Thank you all for the help.

You need to purchase 4 mounting bolts. I previously posted the part number.

Was going back and forth on doing this after digging this thread up but when i finally decided to grab it ... was national backorder and 300 on ebay
after 4 phone calls to local dealers... one said he had one and its been sitting there for a year , someone ordered and didnt pick up so i drove over and grabbed it today.

Will pop on when the weather is nicer!

I'm in!!! I installed my new Engine Cover this afternoon. The only tools needed were an 10mm open ended wrench and a 10mm socket wrench. It took a little while to figure out how to remove/discard the OEM bolts and install the new Engine Cover bolts.

Thank you to all the contributors who posted on this thread. I will confirm the parts: Civic Type R engine cover:12500-5BF-A01 and Engine cover bolts: 90014-R40-A00 (need 4). Order from a Honda dealer near you.

The increase in HP and performance is better than running premium gas v regular gas, but that's not important now.

A LITTLE OVER BOARD IN MY END, BUT WHEN REPLACING WITH THE NEW TYPE R COVER 4 OUT OF 5 BOLTS WILL ONLY BE USED LEAVING A AKWARD BOLT EXPOSED. SO I REPLACED MINES WITH A M6 DRESS UP BOLT FROM DOWNSTARINC. PERSONALLY FOR ME IT LOOKS GOOD AND IT GIVES IT A PERSONAL TOUCH.

AWKARD BOLT!

AFTER BEING REMOVED

WITH OLD AWKARD BOLT

WITH NEW DRESS UP BOLT
