Rear turn signals not LED
#121
Your the first person I've heard actually complain that there LED's are too bright. Most people want them bright, and V-LEDS actually post brightness lumens. Try some red ones and see what you think. Red's are legal in the rear turn signals in my state, but I suppose that could vary state to state

I'm probably worrying needlessly but, I'm going on a road trip and don't want to be changing bulbs on the side of the highway if the cheap LEDs crap out.
That and the fact that the local police are totally fascist and actually do look out for non-stock lighting and tint. Boy racers with ricey blue and purple fake HIDs in stock housings and fart-can exhausts ruined it for everybody.
I'm hoping that my new set will be a little less eye-searing.

Red is definitely legal. My TLX had them.

I have the bulbs that Acura 604 posted- no issues with them. I think the issue would be if you used the same bulbs in the front

Finally got my new LEDs today and installed them.
They are the perfect color and brightness and worked well for hazard flashers but, when I tried individual turn signals, they flashed too fast.
Back to incandescents until I find ones that are 'just right'.

They were supposed to have built-in resistors.
I don't want to mount separate resistors because there is no space.
I have a pair of more expensive Lasfit bulbs with built-in resistors arriving tomorrow.
We'll see how they do.

If anyone who swapped out their rear turn-signal bulbs and are interested in selling their original bulbs, please let me know as I might be interested in reusing those silver/amber bulbs on a different vehicle.

which bulbs did you get, do you mind posting a link? I was looking at Lasfit and thought they might be better than the iJDMtoy bulbs because some of them don't have LEDS on the end of them pointing towards the rear.

Does anyone have a video they could post on how to replace the turn signal lights? Thinking about trading in my current car but want to make sure the process is generally straight-forward.

Cruisin'
I didn't make a video, but it's pretty straightforward. Open the tailgate, remove a plastic trim piece, remove two screws, gently pull the light assembly out to release a pin holding the front end in the body panel, and then remove the wiring harness, and replace the bulb. Reverse steps to reinstall. I did both sides in less than 15 minutes and am very happy with the LED replacement units I got on Amazon.

I installed these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3283...e-f2d32411873b and they are perfect color, beam pattern is like original OEM, perfect brightness, perfect look from outside (through clear glass).

I purchased the LASFIT bulbs and they are probably too bright. I will give them a light coat of silver high hear paint as suggested by others, but would prefer a bulb with no modifications required that is a reasonable brightness. These look good and are only $20 with shipping.
I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

To be honest I would rather have rear fog lights so I can be seen in bad weather if I had to choose. I realize the LED turn signals are more visible in inclement weather but I really think I’d rather see rear fog‘s instead…

How are these Aliexpress bulbs working out for you 8 months later? Are you still using them? Any issues?

Thanks for the feedback. Did you need to install resistors, or were they just plug and play? Any hyperflashing or error lights in the dash?
I hit the LASFIT bulbs with a light coat of silver and it cut down on roughly 50% of the brightness to where I would say they are probably similar brightness to stock now, albeit in the crisp LED instant on/off. They look good IMO. I will test them against the Aliexpress bulbs when they arrive.
