I just bought a 2019 RDX AWD Advance (Modern steel metallic / ebony ) in NJ. MSRP was 48,395. Sales price was 43,729, plus the $1000 loyalty rebate on top of that. Price includes destination, but not the doc fees which were $499. Financed with Acura for 3.8% for 60 months.

Purchased 2019 Acura RDX SH-AWD Metallic Grey with Black Interior from SFO Bay Area.
Paid $35,485 (including $1000 Honda Loyalty Quest rebate). This was best I could find here among all dealers here. So ~ $5K off MSRP.
No additional package or extended warranty.

I live in Northern VA/DC Metro and the dealer sales manager (i bought 2 cars from them) emailed a sales price listed (good until 5/31) for 2019 cars
model # TC2H7KKNW msrp $48,395 2019 RDX AWD ADVANCE $40,995
model # TCH2H6KKNW msrp $46,495 2019 RDX AWD A-SPEC $39,460
I think both prices are good (does not include $995 freight and $695 processing fee )
I looked at these cars on their website and they don't have upgraded ext. paint ... but i did notice that they have 2 : 2019 RDX AWD ADVANCE in black (interior one in Parchment & other Ebony).
(does not include $995 destination and $695 dealer doc processing fee )

As hard as it is to believe, I've seen too many people lie either maliciously, for bragging rights, or try and convince themselves or others that they didn't get screwed.

Was looking at the incentives that acura gives for the 2019 RDX. Does anyone know if the conquest incentive can only be applied for leased cars or can that money also be applied for cars that are purchased?

Those quotes by that dealer were misleading or possibly deceptive as they did not include the $995 destination charge which everyone has to pay and that dealership's $695. processing fee which to me is a bogus profit making fee. See my post response to spowell71 in this forum. How do you buy a RDX without paying the destination charge?

I don’t believe these ridiculously low prices either. I just purchase a CPO black on black 2019 Acura RDX AWD Advance last week for $41800 with 12k miles before TTL. It came with running boards and all rubber mats.
I know I definitely overpaid but I’m in NJ and the prices for new ones are at least $4k more than CPO.

It is also almost impossible to get too much of a discount on these. It isn’t like these cars have been around for a while. This is a new release of a redesign last year. The 2020 model has no improvement over the 2019 model.
I would be impressed to even get a $5k discount on these.

Email said: "** ACURA LOYALTY, CONQUEST, MILITARY APPRECIATION, & RECENT COLLEGE GRAD INCENTIVES MAY LOWER PRICE EVEN FURTHER ** "
Yes, it expired the day that I made post ; this was the first day I really started research prices, and read this thread, and was wow these are pretty good prices.
I get emails periodically from them and prices look good then i pass info on. I suspect there will be sale July 4th and I will be ready to pull trigger on a RDX
- I hope - having hardtime deciding between a-spec and advanced.
The list a-spec is gone but advanced (Modern Steel Metallic/Ebony) still there:
"TC2H7KKNW msrp $48,395 2019 RDX AWD ADVANCE $40,995"
https://www.karenradleyacura.com/veh...va-id-30405640
Model #: TC2H7KKNW
Here is a MDX example that was on email that still in stock
"YD4H8KKNW $59,445 2019 MDX AWD w/ ADVANCE $48,600"
https://www.karenradleyacura.com/veh...va-id-27729265
"Model #: YD4H8KKNW"
There are a few Acura dealers in my area and I think this is a good dealer. I did Costco with them before and they were 10% below dealer invoice (not MSRP).
So those email prices may have been teasers but if I was to buy in pricier color then I would ask for the same price in email they worst he could say is no
; I suspect it would be quote price in email + $400.

You always destination charge .. I never heard away around it.
I dont think misleading or deceptive because emails says upfront the follwing: "Tax, tags, $995 freight and $695 processing fee not included."
$695 is stardard for our market area (dealers for all car brands)... its hardcode in the contracts. I know a lot of people say "I am not paying that" but normally what you do
is ask for them to lower the price of the car by the amount of the processing fee. I suspect the prices listed in email were so low that one would need to mpay $695 + $995.
Here is Toyota example in my area "All prices exclude taxes, tags and $695 processing fee."
https://www.millertoyota.com/invento...dzrfh5ks938245
Some states have laws that cap trhe processing/doc fees. Example Maryland (MD) which is only like 20 miles from has it capped at $300. I figure if I buy a
car in MD that I may save on the lower processing fee but they would get me some otherway like on taxes.

The only price that matters and that should be posted is what did you actually pay at the end of the sale before walking out of the dealership in relation to MSRP with destination which is a mandatory fee/charge. So if some one pays $39,495. for a 2019 AWD with Tech that has a MSRP of $43, 495. (that includes the destination charge of $995.), then all RDX readers of this thread will know that the RDX sold for 4k below MSRP. This, of course, does not have anything to do with Taxes, tags, etc. which are different in different states. Also, if a dealer charges a processing fee that is mandatory like the poster above stated ($695.), then that too should be reflected in the final paid price. Obviously, poster should mention any loyalty/conquest rebates or finance incentive received towards purchase price as not all buyers are eligible for those. Make sense?

Sorry but you can believe what you want. Here's what I paid April 30 for a black/black Aspec. And Limerick Acura went to NJ to get the car from a dealer there. Maybe you didn't negotiate with enough dealers. Maybe you didn't email them with exactly what you wanted and requested their best price bottom line. Not sure but below is what I paid. I started with 5 and got down to 2 in the span of of about 8 days. I didn't bother reaching over to Jersey but I could have. The price I paid was in line for the discounts I received in 2014 when we bought our MDX for my wife, or in 2015 when I bought my last RDX. I wait until the last day of the month to get really serious.
2019 RDX AWD ASpec Black on Black NEW
MSRP $46895
I paid $41950 and they gave me wheel locks and all weather floor mats ... no trade in cash deal.
$41950 final total.
Only thing added was Pa sales tax 6% and tags $130.
I then negotiated a separate deal with them for the extended warranty.

I was counting on the extended warranty offered by CPO as well as the 1.9% APR financing for 60 months. With new I believe it becomes 2.9% APR for a shorter length.
i know definitely if I had gone new over CPO I would’ve had to pay at least $4k more. MSRP doesn’t include the $1k destination charge.

Just quoted $48k out the door pricing on a 2020 RDX ASPEX AWD as "best they can do" ... Only dealership in town. Was looking at a 19 (none in the area). Next closest dealership is 80 miles away and unwilling to talk unless I show up in person.
Far too much it feels like.

I received an offer on a 2020 black RDX with tech msrp $42,195, sales price $39000 + tax tag title. Driveout $42,000.
We were told we do not qualify for conquest as we have a BMW 760 and a Volvo XC90? Is this fair for a 2020 RDX Tech?
As an aside, my bmw dealer offered us a new 2019 X3 $48,995 msrp for $38,850+ tax. Driveout $41,850. Less than RDX even though BMW X3 is $7000 higher msrp. This X3 would be a great deal.
But unfortunately vehicle is for teenage son and my wife refuses to let me buy him a BMW for his first car.
so, I feel like deal on RDX is not terrific but not sure I can do much better on a 2020 RDX. Anybody buying a 2020 now?

Need more info. MSRP of the 2020? So without $1k dealer add ons, price would have been $38,900 with destination? Is this the FWD Tech model? Plus, usually out the door in most of these posts include dealer fees, taxes, etc. Was your RDX with or without taxes and fees? Lastly any rebates, finance specials? Thanks in advance for info. Sounds like a great deal for a 2020

I got the 96 mo/ 100K mile ZERO deductible official Acura Care warranty.
I had them match the best online price I could find which was $1700
I believe the best online quote was Curry but I could be mistaken. There were three or four pretty close in price. I had to dig around a little to get more than 2 quotes.
#1832
Some answers. It is an FWD not AWD. Yes I qualified for loyalty money having a 2017 MDX. The total included the Texas sales tax, registration and dealer fee. I was their first 2020 sale. But there is no difference in the 2019 and 2020 models. I just wanted a 2020. They had it for only 2 days before I got it. We have purchased at this dealer before so that may have helped too. They were in a "war" with another dealer they don't like. I was ready to walk to the other dealer but they came with another offer.

2019 rdx sh-awd
Figured I'd chime in on this thread to help others get a good deal on a 2019 RDX. I got mine a few weeks ago, leased for 36 months with 10,000 miles per year. Put $1K down. Was able to talk the price down to $33500 w/ Luxury Plus Service plan included. Paying $514/mo w/ average credit at best. Here's what I did:
- Went to YouTube, searched for videos that explain what fee's many dealerships add that are pure profit for them and no benefit to you. This way you know what fee's to ask them to remove.
- Sent an email to multiple Acura dealerships with the exact model I was looking to purchase, when I was looking to purchase, the price I was looking to get the vehicle for (low ball offer) and let them know I was shopping around for the best price. Let me tell you they fought for my business.
Did some negotiating with those tactics and got the best deal I'd say I could've gotten. Just remember these things aren't flying off the shelves and they need to clear them out to make room for the 2020 RDXs, so use that to your advantage. Hope this helps someone get a great deal!

quote on a 19 Apex Blue A spec awd for $42.5k (unsure of the color). Dealership is a bit of a drive. They my have it in white as well.
Thoughts?
Not sure if I qualify for any conquest / loyalty deals (former owner of a honda, mother with a honda, currently with a mazda and audi).

I was able to get about $3,500 (~8%) off my RDX with Tech. So realistically, you should be looking at around 39-40k$. I don't think you'll be able to get it down to $37k at this time as the RDX is still selling very well and the demand is still high. If you're aiming for the $37k mark, I'd wait a little a longer and even then I'm not entirely sure you can get it. It also depends where you are.
#1838
Exactly! My dealers were the same way. It was like pulling teeth to get like 2500 of the sticker for my 2019 advance a month ago. The advance trim seems to be harder to find and they demand top dollar for it! Try getting them to throw in extras like all weather mats or splash guards. I got a bunch of accessories thrown in when they stopped negotiating on price.

These guys would barely budge off the $46k mark for a CPO model. WTF compared to the deals others are posting for leftover new models.

What market are you in? If I remember correctly the Rocky Mountain region where i’m At where the last to received ‘19 RDX models so they may feel less pressure to move them.
