OEM accessory black chrome rear emblems

does anyone have pictures of the OEM black chrome rear emblems installed (hopefully on a black rdx)?

I’m guessing the ‘black chrome’ on these emblems is the same as the chrome color used on the TLX a-spec grill trim and oem accessory emblems, vs more of a gloss black like the rdx uses for its grill surround / trim. That’s my assumption based on how they look in the manufacturer pictures.

Any real life pictures would be great.

My RDX is the Lunar Silver Metallic. I replaced the standard RDX and SH-AWD emblems with the dark chrome version. I was thinking the darker color would look nice with the Silver paint (more contrast). And the cost was very inexpensive. In hindsight, I don't think it added any value/improvement.

I can take a pic tonight and post it.

Maybe not, but I'm betting it just looks better.

So, worth it IMO.

I’m wondering how it looks on black. There’s a lot less contrast if the car is black so not sure if it makes an improvement.

The picture above looks a lot darker/blacker than what the dealership offered (Emblems - Black Chrome). The emblems are darker than the original, but not black.

Here are a few pics of mine.

I've seen it on black and loved it.

Black chrome emblems on Apex Blue for reference. I really wish you could get the rear Acura emblem or A-Spec badges in black chrome too.

ew no.
I like PlastiDip but not for emblems (espscially the ffront)

This looks way classier and isn't flat.

No chipping either.

Even with their "gloss top coat" or whatever it still looks pretty flat. Wouldn't match any of the other gloss on the car :/

sorry this reply is late and possibly irrelevant now but didnt see a good pic from the rear really showing how the black chrome emblems look on a white RDX... @jmhumr here's a decent pic of the rear of my white RDX - I debadged everything except the "A"... I like the look a lot better than with all the words and letters on the back - been meaning to get the chrome ring around the front emblem wrapped in black vinyl but just haven't got around to it yet... also still trying to decide to remove or replace the side A-Spec emblems...

looks good. I did the same exact thing with my 2022 Aspec ADV except I replace the “A” emblem with all black gloss “A” from Acura

I don’t know why Acura blacked out the area behind the “A” logo for 2022. Does not look good IMHO…

On the 2022 model, the blacked-out part is a film that you're supposed to remove before installing the black chrome A emblem (Step 3 on the instruction):

The blacked-out area looks good if were the original chrome A which is like the current generation TLX.
