Screen will stay on for about 10 minutes or until you open a door. Is that what you might be experiencing?

No it displayed an error saying system error and now nothing works. Speakers all stopped playing sound. When I got out of the car and turned it off and left i noticed it beeped like it was upset after it locked. I looked back and the screen was on. I got back in tried to turn it off with the power button on steering wheel, no luck. Turned car on and off again, still wouldn't work or do anything. Went to check for updates and it said not while the car is in motion (car is stopped in park with brake on). Turned off car, got out shut door, stayed on. Tried to call Acura and my phone connected to Acura sound system for bluetooth... Called Acura service, no answer. I think I need to pull the fuse so the battery doesn't die. Just not sure which one. http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/p...BTJB1818OM.PDF page 615 mentions fuses but not sure which is nav screen

Got it reset by pulling the top right plug thats blue (third from right). Now when I turn off car and get out it shut off the screen... Now i need to figure out the nav security code. It won't let me use nav since it just asks for security code. Submitted a ticket to Acura about this! 3rd time it's crashed since owning the car.

From google i see that this site is suppose to get the anti-theft code however it requires a serial number which I can't obtain. It's suppose to be on your anti-theft card but I searched all paperwork and can't find it.

Just talked to Acura. They said no anti theft card with 2018+ Acuras you just hold the power button (volumn knob) down for 5 seconds. This worked however apple carplay is still not functioning. I think i'm going to have to take it in to Acura .

Should be in your owner's manual booklet

Happened me Monday

Monday my nav went completely haywire...

- had CarPlay on (GMaps & Apple Music) - made a phone call and after ending the call no sound
- wouldn't access any CarPlay apps
- tried SiriusXM - "Check Tuner"
- tried FM radio - "Radio unavailable"
- stock navigation was shaking and spinning with no rhyme or reason
- called Acura Orange County service who said there is "absolutely no way" to reset the system - I called BS
- parked the car and the nav screen wouldn't turn off
- thanks to this thread i found the fuse, pulled and reinserted and seems fine now...for now...

I filed a report w/Acura Client Services email system and rec'd a call from a very nice rep who told me I should take the car in. I am hesitant to do so because I assume I will receive the "unable to reproduce" report and basically waste time with the car in service...

Has anyone else rec'd any feedback from the dealer or client services about this? Personally I feel like this system was rushed out w/out much QA testing

Next time this happens, pull over and video record the errant behavior with your phone. When you go in for service, you will have proof.

This just happened to me too. Dropped it off at the dealer. Video of the problem:

Was driving with iPhone plugged in via CarPlay. Car made a high pitched beep noise and all audio stopped. SiriusXM says "tuner error", FM radio won't play, Bluetooth won't recognize devices. Also, when scrolling through the settings, some of them are greyed out, and when I try to select them, the car says "this is not available while in motion".

Clearly you have much experience with Acura service departments

(I joke because thinking of Acura service makes me sad )

When I called support and asked if I should bring it in they just said if pulling the fuse resolved it then you don't need to bring it in. I asked if they would add it to my file and he said no... My take was they don't have a fix Atleast it's been running OK since that issue. This is the 3rd time I've had a similar issue though.
