Led drl

Does anybody knows the reason why there is a small design in the plastic lens in front of the LED DRL strip? Because when you look at the front of the RDX when DRL are on, it look like a part of the LED strip is "dimmed down" in front of that design... I find that small design so stupid, it messes up the beauty of the DRL in my opinion..... I noticed there is the same thing for the front flashers.....

To piggyback with what Thoiboi says above, there was probably a hotspot there visible to oncoming traffic so the engineers diffused it.
