Anyone planning on blacking out the interior pillars and headliner on their Advance?

I'm kinda sour that Acura didn't include black headliner and interior for the advanced package. Was thinking if I go with the Advanced, I can buy replacement A-Spec parts and just swap them out.

Anyone know of any sites that have pictures of the parts? So far I have these two sites but they only show descriptions and pictures of some parts.

I’ve seen the black headliner option, or std. feature marketed on other cars. It’s lost on me, I’m ignorant to the advantage of it. Is it an aesthetic preference thing only? Sorry, I’m not answering your question I’ve always been curious.

That's it in a nutshell - no advantage at all. If black headliner was the only option on the Advance trim I'd be driving something else entirely right now.

Here are some folks that seem to prefer the Black. We have it on our A-spec.....had beige on our 2nd generation RDX and the stains, smudges were annoying. Weren't even mostly us, as we have only grown kids, but prolly from some that serviced the car. Btw: have the black headliner in my S5 coupe, and simply LOVE it. And in that cabin, you can feel really cramped. But would not want it any other way.

Just aesthetics. I have the A-Spec namely because I like the way it looks. It has most of the tech of the Advance (minus HUD, adaptive suspension, no touch tailgate, heated back seat) but I like its look much better (20 inch blacked rims, blacked accent). Performance is no difference save just bigger tires.
