So I was wondering if anyone has a pic of where the camera washer is and what it looks like when it’s out. I really want to add this to my aspec, from what I can tell it activates with the rear window washer, wondering if it would be something I could order parts for the add or if it changes any major panels where I couldn’t do that.

The rear camera washer is implemented into the main body of the camera housing. I.e it is a little round cover that comes out from beside the camera and sprays it. I think it's ingenious. As per how easy it would be to DIY. I personally think it would be very doable. Simply needs a tube from the rear washer line and to be wired to the rear wiper. The only issue I forsee is how to make it so it doesn't come out when you're simply turning on the rear wiper without water.
Idk if this would be what I need, I’m not looking to replace the whole camera, not sure if it would be part of the camera assembly or a part that attaches to it, really need to see a diagram
Oh I found the nozzle assembly !!! Wonder what other parts are needed, I believe it just taps into the rear window washer, I see a bunch of other parts that are available to buy
Camera assembly is a different part number for Advance vs other trims ( including A-spec ). The only obvious reason for this is to accommodate the washer nozzle. This might be a deal breaker, unfortunately.
Otherwise, just some plumbing. But I'm not coming up with good parts diagrams.
But I'm really enjoying these dirty pics of an RDX's rear end...
I was able to find all the required parts, for the nozzle hoses and everything its about $50, but to get the nozzle built into the camera assembly I would have to order the advanced camera which is $130 discounted really sucks when its literally the plastic piece the camera mounts to that I need
total of $180 before shipping for everything I would need, not sure if this is really worth it, consider I have heard the Advanced camera quality is worse, and there is no guarantee that camera would work with the A-spec
done need part 16 as that comes with the Aspec, just part 10 and then everything else down that line there
literally if I could buy the little plastic frame that goes around the camera, would be a cheap part, then this would be a $60 swap, but not the case :/

Yes. I am planning to do this exact project or at least 3D print a "visor" for the camera...someday. Right now it's summer so I have very little need for it. Once I have a better idea of the required design, I can whip this up in a couple days.

I know this thread has been quiet for a long time, but I wanted to post that I finally added back-up camera washer to my 2020 A-spec. The process was not as easy as I hoped for, but it's certainly doable. Here we go:
1- I bought a used advance backup camera assembly from eBay for about $60 USD.
2- I removed my 2020 A-spec camera assembly and encountered the first problem: A-spec camera has male connector while advance camera has female connector.
3- For a while I was searching for a 6-pin male-female adapter but did not have any luck, and even if I had found one I wasn't sure it would work properly. These two cameras are entirely different since advance camera is part of the 360 view system and I wasn't sure whether the A-spec head unit would recognize it. Anyways, I decided to remove the cameras from their respective housings and install the A-spec camera on the Advance camera housing. The good news is the advance camera housing fits perfectly in the tailgate and no modification is required there.
4- Again, since these two cameras are different their housing cutout to accommodate camera as well as screw hole locations on the housing are different. So, I had to manually cut the advance camera housing such that the A-spec camera sits flush with housing.
5- Once the cutout is done, then you need to carefully drill holes in the housing so the A-spec camera can be properly secured.
6- Final part is piping which is the easiest part: Just need to add a T-junction with a hose (both bought from Amazon) to the rear washer fluid which is on the right tailgate hing.

Keep in mind that A-spec's wire harness is female. So, your camera must have a male pin out. Do you have a picture of a 2022+ rear camera assembly? I didn't find a picture online for the part number you mentioned.

Need tip on the installation. I think one can remove the camera module from the small access panel on the tailgate. For the washer fluid pipe, do you remove the plastic lining on the right side of the rear window, and fish the tube over to the access panel area?

You need to take off three trim pieces for this. If you already don't have a set of plastic prying tools, buy yourself a set to make this an easier process.
1- Remove left and right tailgate hinge covers. Each of them is secured by a plastic pin. Remove the pins first, and then pry out the trims.
2- The middle tailgate trim: once you have removed the tailgate covers, you'll see that the middle trim has also two pins on either side. Take them out first and then pry out the trim. You have now full access to the rear camera.
The small plastic trim in the tailgate only gives you access to the tailgate lock mechanism and it's not related to camera housing. You don't need to remove it.
I keep seeing so many features the A-Spec Advance has over the standard A-Spec that im wishing I dished out the extra coin for one
Just purchased a 2024 A-Spec Model. The Advance I Believe Has HUD, Heated Steering Wheel, Rain Sensor Wipers, Folding Side Mirrors, Different Wheels & Comes With Remote Start. Its Definitely Nice To Have. The wheels that it comes with I didn't like & also 4k more for it. In my opinion, was not worth it. I'm happy with My A-Spec.

Agree - Less to go wrong long term. I too prefer the standard Aspec wheel over the Aspec Advanced wheel. Though, some of the options I would like the HUD, 360 camera and thigh support adj seat - can live without the adj dampers, folding mirrors, Heated Steering Wheel, Rain Sensor Wipers and remote start. However, $4k is a big number to use elsewhere - IMO.

I didn't add any filter. I simply removed the inline connector and replaced it with a generic T-junction from Amazon.

The MMC module is a direct fit. Just need to add piping.
Video quality:
The resolution is about the same, if not worse on the corners.
Has better dynamic range and lower noise. Low-light view is remarkably clean, and a huge improvement over 19-21 unit.
Color is slightly richer, but not as dramatic as the low-light improvement.
The field-of-view is slightly wider than 19-21, and the camera position is slightly offset to the driver side.
As a result, the guidelines are off. The actual distance of the solid/dashed markers are further away, and the left-right lines are also different in ways that I have not figured out yet.

Oof I was very onboard with this until your last bullet point. That would drive me absolutely bonkers.
You can easily swap your 19-21 A-spec camera with 22+ A-spec camera (19-21 camera attached to 22+ camera housing). It's only 4 screws. This way, you won't have any calibration issue.

Thanks man this is definitely something I could see myself doing and I love that you went for it! In Canada during the winter the camera is nasty 90% of the time and by the time I realize I'm already heading out and don't want to leave the warm car to clean it off.

Yes that would be a good option. I thought about this, but the improved video quality is good enough that I decided to stick with 22+ camera for now.
