Agreed. But it did show a short clip of the acceleration and sound of the super quick shifting new 10-speed. Also, a mini test of the new SH-AWD. This RDX looks like a winner so far.

Just ran across this one. It’s a comparison of the competition. He can’t talk yet about the performance of the RDX (embargo), but it still has some great comparison info.

Who's going to be up at 12:01 a.m. on May 31st to see what he really thought about the RDX?

Here's what Jeff at Temple of VTEC said after test driving the RDX:
they are only putting a $500 premium on SH-AWD which is a steal. Also, every 2019 RDX is better equipped than the comparable 2018 model, starting with the standard pano roof.
From a performance and equipment perspective, dollar for dollar, this new RDX blows pretty much everybody out of the water. It reminds me a lot of the 3rd gen TL in that respect

Yes, msrp on this new generation looks great, but unless you absolutely have to be first to own, paying a premium (over msrp) on a car with no production limitations is costly.
This is not a 911rs or Ford GT....pricing will be broken by Fall if not sooner IMO. Honda will build as many as they can sell. I do see gradual significant pricing increases over next few years because the car is worth it.
I think Honda tactic is to buy market share in this hot market...which is good for the customers and Honda long term.
