As of 12AM tonight, TX2K12 will be just 1 month away. For those not in the know, it's the largest gathering of the fastest street cars in the US (& maybe the world) that will participate in track, dyno, & drag racing days followed nightly by time south of the border as well as the infamous Frank-N-Stein Meet.

I'm starting the thread early as I know the event has been suggested as the meeting place for our Spring GTG. Even though that no longer seems to be plan, I see no reason why those of us going still can't do a quick GTG at the event as I know a few of us plan to attend. Thus, those of you who have previously attended can hopefully suggest the best opportunity for all of us to meet briefly while we're together.

For those of you wanting info on the event, it will run the following:
Thursday 15th - Driver's Education Event @ MSR Houston.
1 Performance Drive
Angleton, TX 77515

Friday 16th - Dyno Day @ Lonestar Motorsports Park
120 Old Columbus Road South
Sealy, TX 77474
Spectator fee - $15/person. 9-5pm.

Friday Night is also when the Frank-N-Stein Meet will occur. Food, fast cars, & a bikini contest.

Sat/Sun. 17th/18th - Drag/60-130Mph Day @ LMP.
Spectator fee - $20/person.
On Saturday, gates open @ 10AM with racing at 11-5pm. This the Test & Tune day & 60-130Mph passes.
On Sundays, gates open @ 8AM with racing at 9-4pm. This is the Qualifying followed by Eliminations.

Dallas guys, I'll see if NAiL & I can't possible get a caravan going for anyone wanting to join in a group.

I made an appearance @ 2:39.

My friend that i was talking to had seen it for the first time. I told him something in the rear was rattling and to check it out. as soon as he went back there to look underneath, i opened up the cutouts and rev'ed it up pretty good. lol.
