Parents didnt let me get my license till 18
Didnt even think i was getting a car till like 21 UNTIL i overheard my sister saying that my mom told me to find a car for under 4k so i searched day and night for about 3 days lmao till i found my current TL. I was about to get a clean b16 swapped civic sedan but got the TL instead.

Did i mention they wont put me on the insurance right now cause its too expensive for me LOL *Only and youngest boy out of 5 kiddos

*Im hesitant to drive places because i waited so long for my damn license and i dont want it getting taken away...

It shouldnt cost more,at least with my state farm it doesnt cuz i asked my agent would my insurance go up if i add my sister (lol was trying to see if my payments will be lesser since shes a girl aka "a better driver") but they said no it doesnt change.

I see where you are coming from this. If you are serious about going you could caravan with some of the guys for extra sense of security. IMO, you are more likely to get in a wreck in the city where there is a tonne of traffic rather than the freeway. Did you ask your parents?

I agree with you, I wouldnt be driving without insurance.
cops have cameras that scan license plates automatically. if it scans yours, it will automatically flag you and they WILL pull you over.

The camera won't know who's driving though. The car would be insured and he could always lie about the insurance and say his sister was supposed to keep it in the TL.

But dude, seriously, if you don't want to chance it... DON'T. There will be other meets/car shows that you can attend with us.

Thats what i was kind of thinking, just some of us meet up and roll out that way so theres a less chance of getting pulled over . & No i didnt ask my parents yet lol, its a 50/50 chance. But either way my parents usually let me drive around.

Spring/Woodland area. The car HAS insurance its just not under my name.

The only other meets ive seen are REALLY far from me and i wont risk driving to S.A, Austin etc lol.
