Ron Jon Kit in Dallas/Ft. Worth

Anyone in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area have a Ron Jon kit installed on there 09-11 TL? I would like to see how well the kit fits and also get the name of your installer.

we all know fitment is not that well. your looking into 2k+ to get the lip kit installed and that is not a guarantee that it will fit well too..

just giving you some input.

I've read that on the forum, which is why I was hoping someone in the area had already put one on. I'd rather use a body shop that has dealt with the kit and knows what they are in for.

Looks like i will be messaging Ack05TL about the OEM Kit. How much time do you think it will take a body shop to put on the OEM kit?

Thanks for the info.

You can do it yourself in a day and they will probably take a day as well

Fitment is not bad, as long as you have a qualified bodyshop to do the work. I can explain to them what is involved. We are creating an instruction sheet to help installers. Here's a couple of hi res images to show the fitment:

PS, hey potmilk, I love ya too buddy. I understand you have heard some things, but there are always two sides to the story. I am not calling you a liar, but after 9 years of dealing with over 500 different bodyshops, I've heard it all, and I have made my conclusions and they are all founded. God bless you bro.

I thought it was a direct fit? Why does a qualified body shop need to install it for fitment to be not bad?

As a potential customer that's the last thing I want to hear about the front lip I'm interested in.

IMHO the RonJon kit looks 100% better than the factory stick on cow catcher front end Acura came up with. WTF Acura, how hard is it to make a lip kit (they've done it for years).

RonJon is in my future after the Ohio winter, going with the RonJon front and rear and the OEM side skirts.
