Midget hands? Nah, lots of lube for those tight spots. Sounds like your place would be easiest since everything is so close. I have the basic tools but whatever we don't have we can get. Ill have to see when all the parts come in, 3 items have already shipped, but i'd like to do it ASAP. Maybe the weekend of sept 7-8 or the weekend after?

Lol I use amsoil I think that GM is a little better than stock but if you like to get the rev's going I'd go with something like amsoil or redline... But OEM did change up their formula I believe I know the old one had too much or too little slippage stuff (FM) friction modifier I think is what it stands for...not sure what's up with the new formula though... Do you plan to do the 3x3 method?...

I did the gm fluid :/ twice, worked for the first 10 minutes and the grind is back, and still no good so I'm sure it's going to need to be replaced, anyone know any good acura tl savvy shops? I really don't want to end up with a bad job being done and an even worse trans

Erry day erry day
600 for parts and labor is legit. I would have paid that.
I think I'm at about $190 minus the ATF and coolant, a little over 400 with those added in, not bad.

I haven't needed or had a chance to wrench on my new to me TL yet. I can't imagine any service being more difficult to DIY than any other Honda I've owned

Gunn acura kind of a rip off (monopoly) if your gonna try dealer status I'd star with one in Austin as they have more than one & can compete
![what](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/what.gif)
Or atleast call around & see if Gunn will match the price...
