The ones you showed have a plastic lens which is more susceptible to melting or getting burn spots if you ever switch to hids or a high wattage bulb. They also have a different bulb glare shield than the oem/depo which might differ in the light pattern (not sure though) The pros of having a plastic lens is that they're less susceptible to breaking from rock chips due to flexibility dependent on their quality. Also, with other aftermarket brands their quality and fitment might not be great and require trimming.

OEM/Depo have a glass lens/housing which have a more durable construction which helps if you ever plan to run hids or a higher wattage bulb. Their quality also helps with ease of installation as they fit without problems.

So if you plan to use your fogs for looks and do slight adjustments you can get the cheaper ones. Otherwise if you plan on using them for more function get the depo ones.

or.... you can be like justin and go fogless = more ram air for the intake.

 

Lol fogless Justin...I have a secret plan for my fogs on the new type s front lip I just ordered...I don't want to say yet but my 2ND idea was to use some kind of mesh install projectors & wire hid kit to them using stock center fog wiring...

 

I bought an oem set not too long ago for like $80 on c's list...
Seen another set for 100...but I wouldn't want to pay $200! That's almost the price of the lip itself...

those you either look for at junkyard or go to the dealer (might charge you for a kidney) you can try ebay but the search results will be a bitch to look thru at times.

Looking for new exhaust options for the tl and can someone explain why most aftermarket companys start the exhaust off big but then suddenly make it smaller after the y split? For example, 2.5in starting and after y split back to 2.25, doesnt make sense to me lol, wouldnt it be better to keep one size throughout?
