Maaan it sounds like a lot of work, hey did you get your rims done yet ? If so post pics I wanna see how they came out

I had no choice, I don't trust anybody else working on my car .

I'm going to try to wash the car and take some shots with the A-Spec kit on it, so I'll make sure and get some close ups of the wheels.

Yeah if you don't have to swap springs or top hats, then by hand is fine. But, if you had to compress and release coil springs 8 times by hand with a screw compressor, that would really suck. Tein & H&R's coilover kits don't come with top hats for the 3G TL, so you have take apart the OEM coil/shock or buy new top hats. Megan's come pre-assembled with top hats, so it's an easy swap. It's just infinitely quicker and easier with an impact.

I actually have one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-2-D...motiveQ5fTools

They are cheap, but if you don't use them all the time, they are fine for stuff like compressing springs, etc. I've had mine for a couple of years and it works great. Definitely cheaper than buyers a compressor, etc.

Yea i know i dont really need air tools for coilovers,powerflow/Justin brought the the idea up just incase we have hard times getting some bolts out and want to do Ralph's springs install. I just got a duralast Torque wrench from autozone tonight,so im sure its gonna help out.

Haha i pretty much babysitting my cousins since i didnt go to summer school (also gettin paid for it). And yea i also mess with my cars sometimes, just painted my rear H emblem gloss black and installed my fujita CAI.

I dont think im ready to blow up another fuse box, cause after when i first installed this fogs my radio and cig lighter stopped working. But then i got new fuse box and rewired it to my power side mirrors.I dont think i wanna try this switch like i did with my first attempt on install, I'll prolli just look for a shop to help me wire it if nobody can do it.

Here's the wiring pic of what i was following . My own civic harness dont match the ones in this diagram (eBay for the loss),so i guess thats why i was having problems wiring it myself. My own civic harness has 1 yellow,2 red and 1 black as opposed to the above diagram. The left side of the diagram is the civic side (ignore the blue wire, not included) while the right is the fog light switch(My switch has 5 pin outs while the civic has 4)

SaifTL I would highly recommend getting an extra set of headlights from the junkyard just in case the oven decides to melt your headlights and your sh*t out of luck. Not trying to scare you but its possible. Also when I did my bros headlight on his 3G TL I went with 220 degrees for 20 minutes and they came apart with ease. Let me know when you guys are meeting up to do all these jobs I might have time to swing by and give ya'll a hand.

I used heat gun on mine, worked really good.

It's a good idea to replace the silica packs too.

I've done black housing on two of my cars (My Accord and old '02 civic) and i never melted or even broke anything when opening the headlights apart. The only problem i ran into the first time was fogging and thats cuz i used to same old oem silicone glue on the headlights. I actually used some Toyota Prius forums' DIY to do it the first time and i did it right.

Yes those are the wires thats supposed to be connected to current switch, and the civic switch is just like that except for the colors of the wires on them.
I just used some old HID harness for the accord switch,i used "sub D connectors" i got from radio shack to attach them to the pins on the switch.

Saif, try to stay in between 4300k and 6000k for the best light output.
anything higher looks cool but wont give you the same visibility as stock.
I heard visibility sucks in the rain with anything above 6000k.

Emmanual, I don't really care for joining another forum. I'll just stick to azine!
8:30AM HERE WE COME!!!!!!!
hopefully we're done by 11 or so, cuz I dont want to be stuck in the HOT ass SUN!
