Just picked up a rear trunk lip. Just seeing if anyone one knows the proper way to clean the truck before putting it on and knows how to put it on? Searched it on AZ but couldn't find anything.

 

^clean with alcohol, apply with 3m double sided tape. If possible heat the surface a little before applying

 

So today I was in my neighborhood going home an there fixing on of the crossover streets on my street an they broke up the concrete so its just dirt an I was going slow an I thought the dirt was flattened but it had a little hill in the middle an I hir pretty hard an I heard somthing hanging an it was the plastic that covers my tranny I believe it is. Should I be worried an get a new plastic or not worry about it?

 

Upgrade and get a metal shield custom made lol

which one did you get? the one i put on my car had double sided tape and 2 bolts i had to drill holes for.

 

Dude I want a custom skid plate to cover like the whole front bottom of my car so I wont have to worry about cracking shit lol

 

Mine just has the double sided tape. Didn't really want one with bolts. 3m tape alone should be strong enough to hold. I don't want to drill into my trunk. I just need some help with it so I don't mess up lol.

 

The only bad thing about those is that people steal them but you should be good there hasnt been any situations like that around here. Well not that I know of.

 

Gave me an idea; we should put a thin piece a sheet metal under our lip; scrape that & make Sparks inserted of scratching off our paint...first person to order can be Manuel lol...

 

Emmanuel has the sti lip under his aspec lip so hes good I plan on buying one to so I dont scratch off anymore paint off my front lip
