Sup Houston? Me and the Mrs are thinking about traveling to H-Town to spend a little time in Texas. Probably fly into HOU and start in your fine city, go to the lake (Montgomery), then to Austin for a City Lights experience.

We got a smokin' hot deal at a Condo on Conroe and would spend around a week there. But I need to know if it's worth that much time or if we should just go to Austin early?

Also if there is anything else on 290 we should stop at on the way to austin.

Or...any other important things I should see in the area?

In Conroe, the lake is pretty much its main attraction. Depending on where you are staying at in Conroe; you should head south on I45 into the Woodlands. They have tons of shopping centers, eats, etc.

not sure about conroe .. but on your way out of houston headed 290 west, check out the outlet mall a few miles outside of houston. i believe you get off on mason rd .. it is on the north side of 290, can't miss it.
