Everybody get to safety..Anyways in the news today
HOUSTON — People across Texas — from Dallas to Houston — reported seeing a huge shooting star-like object in the sky around 6:45 a.m. Friday.

At least one witness in Dallas reported hearing a boom with the fireball, which reportedly had a long trail behind it.
Some people said the object flashed from red to green before it disappeared. The light show only lasted a few seconds, witnesses said.
“I was scared. I didn’t know what it was,” Megan Townsend, a witness, said Friday.
This morning’s fog in southeast Texas made it difficult to capture on camera.
“We don’t know for sure, but it seems like a meteor, given the amount of people who saw it over such a large area,” Chris McKinney, with the National Weather Service in Houston, said.
Doppler radar indicated a small blip, which could have been part of the meteor.
KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson speculated the object may have been from the Geminids meteor shower, which takes place in December. These meteorites often appear to be slow moving, although the Geminids usually are best seen at its peak on Dec. 13 and 14
