I guess im happy for now.. picked up some oem type s wheels to add with the tsx wheels. *Tsx center caps are in my room lol

I believe both wheels are 17x8 so i only have to buy 1 set of tires :p just switch wheels when i want using the same tires.

Amazon Prime rocks. I was able to get misc maintenance parts in my flavor for cheap.
RP oil filter, Valeo wipers, cabin filter. Couldn't get the best deal on PPG Auqapel though.
Saves a PITA trip to the auto parts stores.

Of the two I'd opt for the jag. I'm like seriously considering the Lexus ISF

For some reason I can't get into the look of the isf. My budget has jumped from 26 to 55 in a hurry. I feel silly with the sales reps telling me all the great thing in the "new" cars but my 06 can do all of it.

You can talk to the car.....check
Navi......check
Bluetooth.....check
Steering wheel controls....check
300 or so HP.....check
Great gas mileage......check
Heated seats.......check
Etc.....check

To bad the new tls are so ugly in my opinion, plus only getting12k for my baby is silly.

My sentinments exactly. Was even considering a 335 but the interior is just so blah. My TL runs perfect so I guess I should just hold on to it.

My thing is if I hold on to it then I won't get another car ever. Can you imagine someone offering 3k a year from now for your baby? I am going to give the sales guy the finger and walk out.

Plus I feel it is time for me to have a "big boy car"

Then I look at it going man, I could spend 60 and get a gtr, new house deposit, golf club membership, etc.

Get the fancy car before kids if you can. I hate growing up!

I know the feeling but all cars depreciate. I say get the GTR and call it a day But seriously I have no kids and feel like I should get a "big boy car" but I'm pretty sure I'll get bored with it just the same. Plus I know I'll cry on the inside everytime I see a modded TL. Are you having issues with your car? Why not keep it and get a second?

$55k is not enough to own a GTR unless you aren't paying rent or any other real bills.

You brought up some very good points. I say keep the TL or upgrade to a 3g TLS I won't even consider upgrading unless I'm clearing 6 figures and even then I'd probably just buy another car to work on

No issues, *knock on wood* It is just a I got the itch for something new about a month ago.

Well for about 62K you can get a 10,000 mile used GTR from the broker we bought the SRT from. I thought about buying another project car but then I don't think I would have the time like I used to plus one would sit in the drive way all day. I wish the new tls looked good

What I think I am going to do is get the rims repainted, car repainted, suede headliner, remote start and other little thing to make the car feel new.

Two questions which I know have been discussed:
1. Anyone recommend a great detailer?
2. Anyone recommend a group to do a pc install to replace the nav without losing functionality?

I can detail, although i dont think I am "GREAT"
with our silver colors, its real easy to remove swirls.

I'm planning on doing a PC in my nav, but not any time soon.

It's actually tough to move on from the 3G TL. Great gas mileage/power ratio, styling, reliability, cost of ownership, ect. Every time I consider something else, I fall back to keeping the TL.

Just the wipers. After some research people said to stick with oem wipers instead of other brands so yeah thats why Im not buying online or going to autozone.
